I laugh out loud. “You can’t come to Atlantic City and not gamble.”
We check into our hotel room and spend a few minutes taking in the view and raving over the hotel menu. Kai jumps in the shower and exits the bathroom wearing the tiniest bikini I’ve ever seen. My dick jerks at the sight of her. “I thought we’d lie on the beach for a bit. I’m in desperate need of a tan.”
I shake my head. “Your skin is perfect as it is.”
She looks down at herself. “Really? I think I look kind of pale.”
I cross the room until I’m looming over her. I take her hand and guide it below my belt, placing it on my growing erection. “See what you do to me?”
Her mouth parts. “Well, I am half naked right now.”
I lean in and trail kisses, starting with her collarbone, then to her neck, until I reach her ear and whisper, “You could wear a snowsuit, and I’d get hard for you. Every time.” She turns shy, and I don’t know why. I’ve seen her naked more times than I can count. But her shyness turns me on. I can’t help myself. I move to kiss her, but she stops me. “We’re doing this my way this time. On my terms. This doesn’t mean anything more than what it is. Just sex.”
I want to decline her offer. I want way more than what she’s offering. But she deserves to call the shots after what I did to her. I nod before I slowly tug a string hanging at the back of her neck. Her bikini top drops. I take my hand and tug harder at the string in the middle of her back, and it falls off completely, revealing firm breasts and swollen nipples. I take a step back and tug at the string on the right side of her hip keeping the bikini bottoms in place. It doesn’t take much for it to unravel. I do the same with the left side. That, too, falls to the floor. She stands silent and completely naked. I quickly shed my clothes and pick her up in one swoop. I lie her on the bed, carefully, trying my best not to rush this. I look into her eyes, and she searches mine. It only lasts a second because, the next thing I know, we’re kissing and frantically clawing at each other. I wanted to kiss her lips, softly. Then I wanted to kiss every inch of her body before feasting on her most sensitive spot. And I wanted to seal the deal by making love to her, gently. Lovingly. But that’s not what’s happening right now. She pushes me off her, and I jump to my feet at the edge of the bed. I instantly panic that I misread this. Maybe I jumped the gun. Maybe she doesn’t want this at all. But then she gets on her knees in the middle of the bed and slowly crawls toward me. When she reaches the edge, she stops.
“Step back,” she commands.
I do as I’m instructed and take a step back. She climbs off the bed and falls to her knees in front of me. I look down at her just as her tongue swirls the tip. “Fuck!” My head drops back as she opens her mouth and takes me in. I place my hand under her chin as she sucks me, saliva dripping down to my balls. She sucks harder. Takes me in deeper. “Kai, I’m close.”
She doesn’t stop or slow down. Instead, she sucks faster, causing my knees to buckle and my breath to quicken. I grip her hair tightly as I hit the back of her throat, then I still as I come. She keeps me inside, swallowing it all and not spilling a single drop. I’m breathing heavily as I look down at her. She slides me out gently and stands. I pull her to me and kiss her, growing hard again in the process. Our lips are locked as she walks backwards with me following. The backs of her legs hit the bed. She lowers herself and slides back until we’re in the middle. She opens her legs and pulls me to her, inviting me in. I gladly accept her invitation. She moans once I’m inside and our bodies move in sync. Thrust for thrust.
“It doesn’t matter what your terms are. You’re mine, Kai.”
“Yes.”
“Say it.”
“I’m yours.”
She moans loudly with each stroke, then cries out as I go deeper. “Jaxon…”
She doesn’t have to tell me. I know her. I know her body. And I know she’s about to unravel beneath me. “Come for me, baby.”
Her nails scrape my back as she comes around me. Two more strokes, and I join her, grunting as I come inside of her. I collapse beside her, exhausted and with sweat dripping from my forehead. I look down at her, and she looks up at me before repositioning herself on her side directly beside me. She inches closer, places her head on my chest, and closes her eyes. I instantly relax. There’s a certain comfort I feel when I’m with Kai. A certain peace in my life that I can’t get anywhere else. I wish we could stay this way forever. I wish I could have her forever, but it’s wishful thinking, because I know that as soon as I tell her the truth, I’m going to lose her again.

I’m met with disappointment when the Roulette wheel stops on red and not black. “There goes money wasted.”
Jaxon laughs beside me. “It was fifty dollars.”
“Money is money.”
He whispers in my ear, “You see the guy across from you?”
“Yeah?”
“He just lost five hundred dollars.”
“Holy shit, people gamble that much?”
He chuckles before grabbing my hand. “People lose more than that, sweetheart. Are you done here, or do you want to keep playing?”
I shake my head. “I think I’ve had enough. What should we do next?”
“You said you wanted to go to the beach.”
“But it’s dark now.”
