Two months later.
I glanced at my watch for the third time in the past five minutes. It felt like this meeting would never end.
The food pantry asked the church to put on a fundraising and food collection event for them, and we were in the middle of planning the thing, which meant attending a lot of long meetings and making small talk with people.
Normally, I didn’t mind that sort of thing. My entire congregation looked up to me, and spending time among that kind of admiration gave me a heady feeling. But today, I was eager to end this meeting and get these people the hell out of my church.
I didn’t want to miss the show.
Finally, the head of the event planning committee called the meeting to an end, and everyone rose. I kept my smile firmly in place as all six members of the event planning committee pulled on their jackets and headed to the door, still chatting as if they had nothing better to do.
Maybe they didn’t, but I did.
As soon as I finally got the last one out of the door, I locked it and hurried to my office, thankful that we weren’t one of those churches with an open-door policy. Just as I reached my destination, my phone went off with a text. It was Theresa, letting me know that the church choir did great in the singing competition they were attending. It was about two hours away, so she left early this morning and wouldn’t be back for two days.
I’d been looking forward to her departure for weeks. I could finally do what I wanted to in my home without having to sneak around. Although, I could admit that there was some fun to hiding all the fucking that was going on.
Going behind my desk, I opened my laptop and put the password in. As I pulled up the home surveillance footage, I immediately saw what I was looking for. The camera in Adam’s bedroom showed him sitting in a chair naked while Sienna rode him with her back facing him. She was such a good, thoughtful girl. She’d chosen that position specifically for me, so that I could see her breasts bounce and her face twist in pleasure when she came.
