There were bikers everywhere. Women draped over most of them. Some wore next to nothing. I spotted a couch where a few had gathered who didn’t look as skanky as the ones closer to the bar. I wondered how they fit in.

Talon’s hand slipped into mine and led me across the room. We stopped at a deserted brown leather couch. He sat and pulled me onto his lap, tilting my chin down before he claimed my lips. His hands went to my ass and squeezed before his tongue pushed into my mouth. I circled his neck with my arms and leaned into him, enjoying the way he could devour me with something as simple as a kiss, when I heard a loud whistle.

In an instant, the bar quieted.

“Talon!” Crow roared.

“Yep, I knew that was coming,” he muttered. “Yeah, pres?”

“Get your hands off my sister’s ass!”

I dared to challenge my brother in front of everyone. “What if I want them there?”

Guffaws erupted around the room.

Crow turned red. “Move. Now,” he ordered.

Talon slowly released me, and I pouted when my bottom landed on the couch.

Crow stalked across the bar, his expression thunderous.

Talon stood, ready to face whatever wrath awaited.

“What’s happening?” I asked, concerned for both men.

“Well,” Raven answered as he dropped next to me on the cushion, “I think your brother is feelin’ protective over you and doesn’t want anyone messing with his sister.”

“It’s not like that with Talon.”

“Honey, I can see that, but your brother is kind of blind to it right now.”

I didn’t understand. What was the problem?

Crow reached us. Fury pulled his brows together as he snarled at Talon. “I gave you an order.”

His voice was low and laced with venom.

“I understand that, pres. I tried.”

“The fuck you did,” he growled.

“Why don’t we take this outside?” Raven asked as Crow got in Talon’s face. “Or not.”

“Why?” Crow’s voice sounded strained. “I asked you not to touch her.”

He did?

“My crow,” Talon tried to explain, but he didn’t get to finish.

“No. Don’t you fucking say it.”

“I won’t lie to you, pres. The crow knows.”

“No.” He practically spit the word out. “Get the fuck out of here. Ride to The Roost. Now.”

What?

I opened my mouth to object when Raven’s hand reached for mine and squeezed it.
