“Tell me,” I whisper, hoping I wreck him even half as bad as he wrecks me—with longing, desire, and a love so intense it leaves me breathless.

His forehead drops to mine, and my heart races even as a calm washes over me. “I’m yours, Laney. All of me, it’s yours. I’ve only ever been and will only ever be yours.”

Years. Years I’ve waited for this moment, and for so long it felt like a waste of time. But right here, right now, with the man of my dreams saying everything I’ve longed to hear, it feels worth every second of the wait. It’s not the first time he’s told me this, but every time he says those words, he eases my fears and worries, mainly because those words are just the tip of the iceberg. He’s proved it to me with all of his actions since we got together. He’s in this one hundred percent.

His lips tilt up in a smile I’ve only ever seen him give me—a mix of playful, sexy, and sweet. “I’m so in love with you, Laney. You’re all I can think about, all I want.”

A giddy laugh escapes as I close the distance between us and kiss him with every pent-up ounce of my love. “I love you, Dom,” I whisper, my heart feeling immensely full.

Happy tears prick at my eyes. This might be moving fast, but I don’t care anymore. I’ve known him for over a decade, and I’ve loved him for more than half of that.

Then he swallows thickly, lifts his body up, and drops to one knee in front of me. “I didn’t plan to do it like this, but I don’t want to wait anymore.” He digs in his pocket with one hand while his other reaches for me.

“I’ve wasted too much time already, and I don’t want to waste any more. Laney, I want to build a life with you. I love you more than I ever thought was possible, and while I know I probably don’t deserve you, I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to be worthy of you.” The hand buried in his pocket comes out with a small box that looks vintage, and he flicks it open, showing me the most perfect and gorgeous Victorian-style vintage diamond ring. Tears fill my eyes. Is this really happening?

“Will you marry me?” he asks, his voice strong, love shining in his gaze and making my heart feel so full it could burst.

“Are you sure?”

“More sure than I’ve ever been about anything in my entire life.”

“Yes,” I whisper, my throat clogging with more happy tears.

He slides the ring on my finger—a ring that’s so perfect you’d think it was made for me—and then surges forward, his lips crashing against mine.

“Move in with me,” he mumbles against my lips after he’s kissed me thoroughly senseless.

I laugh. “W-what?”

“Move in with me,” he says softer, his eyes filled with deep longing. “We spend every night together anyway. You just agreed to marry me. Why wait?”

I pull back slightly so I can get a better look at him. “Are you sure? I know how much you love your space.”

“I don’t want to be without you, ever.”

I smirk. “That sounds a little codependent, Mr. Smith.”

He smirks back. “What can I say? I’m addicted to this beautiful blonde who’s bewitched me in every possible way.”

My smile widens, and I wrap my arms around his neck, loving the feel of my naked breasts against his bare torso. “Who knew you were such a romantic?”

His hands slide down until they squeeze my ass. “You haven’t answered my question.”

“It didn’t sound like a question. It sounded like a demand.”

His expression turns earnest. “Will you move in with me?”

I stare into his mesmerizing blue eyes, feeling like I’m living in a dream. Is this really happening? “Yes,” I say, barely able to hold back a laugh at how insane this is. Did we really just get engaged and agree to move in together in the span of three minutes?

He surges forward again, closing what little distance there was between us, and kisses me. His tongue slides across the seam of my lips and I part them, my own tongue automatically meeting his as our kiss goes from passionate to salacious. Without breaking the kiss, he pushes his pants down and then grabs a condom he must’ve had in his pocket and puts it on. He grabs my legs right above my knees and pulls my legs farther apart, making more room for him.

Dom breaks the kiss as he lines himself up at my entrance and then slides in slowly, his thick cock stretching me wide. Pleasure builds quickly at the perfect way he fills me, and I suck in a breath when he pushes all the way in until he’s cradled by my hips.

“Fuck,” he murmurs, dropping his forehead to mine, his gaze still locked on where our bodies are joined. “It’s never been this good,” he says, his voice hoarse. His gaze slides up my body as if memorizing every inch before it lands on mine. “I love you so much.”

I stare into his eyes, seeing only truth and complete devotion, and wrap my arms around his neck, pulling him down until our bodies are pressed together. I kiss him sweetly. “Then make love to me, Dom. Show me that I’m yours.”

His pupils flare, and he cants his hips back before rocking forward, hitting a spot inside me only he’s ever been able to find. My fingernails dig into his back as I meet him thrust for thrust, a glorious pressure building.
