Page 10 of Innocent Revenge

Her puffy lips are soft and warm. I almost laugh when she gasps as I run the tip of my tongue over them. She’s so unbelievably innocent.

“What would your dad think if he saw his sweet angel do dirty things,” I murmur against her lips, and she gasps again, opening her mouth for me. I accept her invitation, a spark of lust sizzling up my spine as my tongue gently caresses hers.I’m kissing Finbar Keenan’s daughter. It serves him right.

I’ve never been so angry with Finbar as when he informed me that his useless weasel of a son was to be part owner – without even discussing it with me first. But it all played into my hands. The plan that took root in my head yesterday is sprouting its evil arms, circling around sweet Caitlin. Yes, what could be a more fitting revenge than to have the man he detests the most seducing his daughter? When Finbar puffshis chest out next to his perfect family and looks down his nose at me, I’ll know that the sweet girl by his side is nothing but a fallen angel. I’ll corrupt Finbar’s good little daughter, and it seems she is corruptible. Her tongue tentatively moves against mine. I bring her arms up so she can hold around my neck. She instinctively threads her fingers through my hair. Her back arches under my hand as I track down her spine, but I stop before I reach her ass. Any wrong move, and she’ll get spooked. I have to tread very carefully to get my revenge.

I pull back, but I’m still so close I can feel her breath against my lips.

“You can’t tell anyone about this, right?”

Her eyes flutter open. “Not… not even Father Murray?”

“Not even Father Murray.” I whisper intently, “This isyoursecret revenge, Caitlin. Only you and I will know.”

“Jeysus, Aidan, where’s your head tonight? Have you heard a single thing I’ve been telling you?”

“Sorry, Sean, it’s just some issues at work,” I hedge, and drain the last of my Guinness, avoiding his eyes. I don’t like lying to my brother, but it’s not like I can tell him that I’ve not been able to get an eighteen-year-old off my mind since I kissed her earlier today, which is all kinds of disturbing considering I’m close to twenty years her senior.

“Is it that eejit business partner of yours again?” Sean’s mouth turns down.

“Well, um, yeah. Isn’t it always?”

I sigh quietly and hate to admit to myself that part of my work problems has been my own doing. I was a hornylittle shit when we started our business – fucking anything in a skirt. Women like my looks and add the fact that I was a business owner, well, I had my pick. And pick I did. Until I picked the wrong person. Or persons. They say, don’t shit where you eat, and I learned that the hard way. I don’t ever again want to go through the Human Resource horrors as female and male colleagues accused me of favouritism after I had slept with one too many of my employees. Finbar took the moral high ground. Since then, he’s had the upper hand. He ‘knows what’s best for the company’ as I had proven once and for all that my decision-making was lacking. That was ten years ago, and he still has that hold on me.

I haven’t been with a colleague since. Flirted, yes, but never touched. And now, there’s Caitlin… She’ll not tell anyone.

“Never liked him. He’s a two-faced cunt and that wife of his is nothing but an ice-cold, self-centred bitch.”

“Now, don’t hold back.” I chuckle and place the glass on the worn bar and signal to the barman for two more. It’s both a blessing and a curse to live crawling distance from Harry Byrne’s; it’s too tempting to have just one more in this old pub that shares my last name but is of no relation.

“Thank fuck I found a woman who’s interested in having a bit of fun.”

“The way your woman’s been popping children, I believe you’ve had your share of fun.”

“And she still wants it.” He grins while we both have half an eye on the barman. He’s a newbie, has only been working at Harry’s for a year, so he can’t be trusted pulling perfect pints with right-sized heads.

“If that’s the case, then I’m surprised she hasn’t popped out more.”

“Well, you see, the issue with Siobhan is that she has this perfect pair of tits that I love to see covered. And I don’t mean by a bra.”

I shake my head in disbelief as Sean brings his hands out in front of him and pretends to squeeze a full set. Despite the way he’s talking about her, Sean has nothing but respect and devotion for his wife. They both have a temper, and their fights – and make ups – are legendary. I’m so glad my brother has found his perfect match, but I can’t deny that I’m also jealous.

“Are you telling me that Siobhan’s tits work as natural contraception?”

He wiggles his eyebrows and nods in confirmation, mischief shining in his eyes. “There’s nothing like gliding your fat cock between a full set of tits.”

My brother has always overshared in a crude manner. I’m quieter, but I used to be crude too when I was younger. The work environment has mellowed my un-PC rating and smoothed my north Dublin accent. Or maybe I try to be posh as a result of Finbar’s continuous attempts to be better than me. Pints with my brother are blissful breathers where I don’t have to watch my tongue. Still, seeing the frowns of the two thirty-something women sitting at the bar next to us makes me change the topic.

“How are the four monsters, anyway?” I tilt my head to the side, eying the pint that is set in front of me, waiting for the storm in the glass to turn black.

“If they’d just settle for one sport, it would solve so many problems.” Sean sighs and shakes his head. “But no, Eamon wants to do rugby, Kieron does hurling, Anthony soccer, and the wee one has taken up golf. We’ll be driving them to different practices in all different directions of town, every day of the week!”

I furrow my brows. “The wee one plays golf? He’s not even two!”

“Well, he likes to throw golf balls, which is bad enough. Broke a pane of the greenhouse the other day. A menace, so he is, our future Rory McIlroy. What about you? Any sign of settling and getting some of your own?”

“Well, a regular tit ride sounds good, but you’re not really selling fatherhood.”
