Smirking, I round the machine to meet up with her. She side-eyes me as we walk toward the clubhouse.

“So… you gonna tell me what you plan to blow up?” I ask.

Haven screws up her nose. “You’re not gonna like it.”

I stop. “You can’t hit the clubhouse, not while my people are inside—”

“Not the clubhouse. I won’t put lives in danger.”

“What then?”

She takes off walking again. “Swift is a biker, right? What’s the one thing bikers takerealfucking pride in?”

My eyes widen. “Fuck, Haven. You’re gonna blow up his bike?”

“Honestly, I thought seeing him in that kind of pain would make you happy?”

With a huff, I run my hand through my hair. “Fuck! Absolutely! But there can’t be damage to the brothers’ bikes. From here, the only issue I see ismyfucking bike next to Swift’s.”

“Hence mycollateral damagecomment.”

“I’ve had that bike since I patched in. She’s my baby.”

Haven reaches out, sliding her arm around my shoulders. “I know, but think of it this way. If she does get damaged, then upgrade here we come. You know, for the greater good and all that.”

“Goddammit! All right. It’ll get Swift out of the clubhouse. I see your logic.”

“Not just a pretty face,” she quips.

I slide my hand to sit on her lower back. “It is a sexy face.” My fingers slide down, clenching her firm ass. “And a sexy ass.” Shelaughs as I bring my other hand up to massage her tit. “And sexy tits—”

“Okay, okay, I get it, Handsy Harry. You need to keep focused. You can put all this pent-up sexual energy to good useafterwe take care of Swift and Gates.”

Dropping my hands, I nod with a giant smirk. “Yes, ma’am. But don’t think I’m letting you out of my sight when all this is over, Haven. You and me, we have a lot to talk about…andsome pent-up sexual energy to deal with.”

Her eyes look into mine when we approach the rear of the clubhouse. “Deal. I’m not going anywhere when this is done.”

“Good to know.” The tight knot in my stomach loosens a little, but there’s still so much we need to get through before I can relax. We’ve got to deal with those fucking assholes, Swift and Gates, and then my priority must be with my daughter. Facing Livvy is going to be damn tricky. I haven’t had a second to think about my ex-wife in all this and how she’s going to react. “Okay, we’re gonna have to sneak around the side of the building to get to the front. Cameras will have picked up we’re here, so I’m gonna send a message to Loki telling him we’re outside and not to alert anyone.”

Haven exhales. “Loki thinks you’re dead. Swift had me on speaker in the clubhouse when I told them all I saw you die.”

Shaking my head, I pull out my cell. “See that light?” I show her the little blue light in the corner of the screen. “It means Loki is tracking my cell. Honestly, he’s probably listening to this conversation right now.”

Haven widens her eyes. “How long has he been tracking you?”

“I noticed the light just after your call with Swift. I expect Mav and Loki are the only two in the clubhouse who know I’m alive.”

Suddenly, a text comes through on my cell.

Loki:I can hear you loud and clear, Pres. Mav hasGates at the bar trying to liquor him up. He’s three tequilas in already. Swift has no idea you’re still alive and that I am tracking you. If you and Haven distract Swift with the explosion outside, we’ll grab Gates inside.

I turn the screen to show Haven, and she chuckles. “Okay, we’re heading to the bikes now,” she says into the phone like he’s on the other end of the line.

Sliding the cell back into my pocket, I reach for her hand. “Let’s blow some shit up.”

“This is the fun part before the chaos begins.” She wiggles her brows at me.

“Then let’s have us some fun.”
