“Not cool, baby girl,” Asher hisses.

“Why did you do mine? I gave you the paint!” Eli whines.

“You gave her the fucking paint?” Ax growls.

“You had it coming—” Eli starts.

“Could you continue your bickering outside? I'm sleeping,” I groan and roll over as I pull a pillow over my head.

The blankets are quickly swiped from my body and rough hands grab my legs to pull me towards the end of the mattress. I kick wildly and scream. “Don’t touch me!”

Ax quickly lets go of my legs as he looks at me nervously. It disappears as I stand on the mattress to get eye level with him. “Don’t ever touch me again,” I hiss at him, clenching my fists to stop them from shaking.

“Fix the damn doors, Katie,” he finally sighs and he leaves the room.

It’s Kate, asshole.

I glare at Eli and Asher until they leave and slam the door behind them.

Some fucking wake up call.

I take a hot shower, letting my nerves and anger go down the drain with the water. After pulling on shorts and an oversized t-shirt, I grab my phone and snap photos of the guys’ doors tosend to Bianca. She immediately calls me and when I pick up all I hear is laughter.

“You have a death wish!” She chuckles.

“Probably,” I laugh. “What are you even doing up this early?”

“Who says I’ve gone to sleep?” She giggles and I realize someone is there with her.

“Bianca Jean! Did you sneak a boy in your room!” I gasp as I get to the kitchen.

Rhonda hands me an omelet and I thank her as I sit at the island to avoid sitting with the guys at the table.

“As if,” she laughs. “My dad would have a coronary. I’m at his house.”

“And who is this mysterious man?” I probe.

It’s silent for a minute until I hear, “Hey, Kitty Kat.”

My mouth drops. “Scott!”

He laughs. “I told you she’d remember me,” he says to Bianca.

“Of course I remember you. Was the worst seven minutes in heaven of my life.”

“Hey now. You scared me.”

“I was not that scary.”

“You are kind of scary, Kate,” Bianca chuckles.

“What was it you had even said to me?” Scott asks.

I smirk as I pick a piece of my omelet off. “That if you tried to go past first base I’d stick the Hamilton’s fire poker through your eyeball.”

“Yeah, yeah, that was it. You killed my first kiss. I almost passed out from fear.”

“Shut up, jackass.”
