The three women giggled while Harper tried to figure out what was so funny.A second later, Carlee pulled a notebook from her backpack.
“We have this notebook.It’s a secret.The Daddies don’t know about it.We pass it back and forth and add random stuff.When Remi went to the bakery and met you, we decided you were Doc’s Little, so we wrote it in the notebook.It’s calledOperation Doc and Harper.”
This time, Harper giggled.She loved that these women had so easily accepted her into their group.It had been so long since she’d had friends.Until she’d gotten away from Zach, she’d never realized how much he’d isolated her.It was fun to be able to talk openly with them and not fear their reaction.
Carlee opened the notebook, revealing a collection of doodles, notes, and secret messages.It was like stumbling upon a hidden treasure.
“I love this.It’s so cool,” Harper said as she thumbed through it.
“We keep it in the playroom behind the books on the second shelf, so if you ever want to add to it, you can.Just don’t show Doc or any of the other men.It’s our secret.We have a list of silly nicknames for the guys and ideas for getting them back when they do something to piss us off.”
She giggled and nodded, then made anXacross her chest with her finger.“Cross my heart.I won’t say anything.I love all the stickers.It’s so fun.”
They talked and laughed the entire afternoon.Every so often, one of the men would walk out back and watch them but never approached.Ivy said it was their way of checking on them without interrupting their girl time.Part of Harper had expected Levi to come to get her at some point because she was spending too much time with her friends, but when he came out back, he stayed near the clubhouse and waved at her from a distance before he retreated.
When she looked back at the group, they were staring at her with dreamy smiles.
“Oh, yeah.Theyloveeach other,” Carlee said.

Doc
“She’s a sweetheart,” Talon said.
Doc leaned back and smiled.He’d been doing a lot of that the past week.It was hard not to when his mind was always on the Little girl capturing his heart.
She was scared.But she was also letting him in slowly.It didn’t matter how long it took until she felt completely safe with him.He would be patient.
“Yeah.She is.”
Gabriel slid a beer to each of the men.“She’s been through hell.I can see it in her eyes.She’s scared.”
He nodded.“I know.”
Talon popped the top off his beer and took a long gulp.“Someone hurt her?”
“She’s been through hell with her ex.I don’t know the details.Only that it was physical and emotional abuse,” Doc said softly.
Gabriel nodded in agreement, his eyes reflecting the anger they all shared toward any man who hurt a woman.
“She’s safe now.We’ll take care of her,” Talon said.
He looked at his friends and nodded.“I know.Thanks.”
Boisterous laughter drew their attention to the front doors.Doc’s gaze instantly went to Harper.She gave him a shy smile that had his insides melting and his cock jumping to attention.
Talon nudged Doc with an elbow, breaking him out of his trance.“Doc, you all right there?You look like you’re about to fall head over heels.”
He chuckled.“Fuck off, bro.”
Gabriel snorted.“Seems to me like she’s got you wrapped around her little finger already.”
“Just you two wait until you find your Little girls.You’ll be putty in their hands, and I’ll enjoy talking so much shit.”
Both men barked out laughter, but Doc ignored them as he got to his feet and went to Harper.
He reached out and gently brushed his fingers against her cheek.“Hey there, baby doll.Did you have fun today?”
