Just like he had with the soup, he hand-fed her each bite.When she was finally too full to eat any more, she shook her head and rubbed her tummy.
“Crawl into bed, baby.”
She climbed under the covers, and Levi handed her Whiskers, then started tucking the blankets around her.
“What are you going to say to him?”she asked, suddenly anxious.
He grunted and met her gaze.“Everything he needs to know to understand not to fuck with what’s mine.”
For some reason, she was pretty sure Levi wouldn’t be doing much talking when he paid Zach a visit.
“Will you take someone with you?”
It wasn’t that she didn’t think Levi could take care of himself.She didn’t want anything to happen to him.He was growing on her.A lot.Zach was smaller than him, but he was also completely unhinged.
“Yes, baby.I’ll take a few guys with me.”
