“She’s not on the list of approved visitors.”
“Approved list?”
He nods, looking away. “Please return to your room, miss, or I’ll have to resort to locking you in.”
“If you lay one hand on me, you’ll die. I’ll make sure of it.”
His shoulder lifts. “It will be an honor to die for Mr. Vilulf.”
I believe him, too, because that’s the delusional loyalty that people have for Odin. They act like he’s a god, but I know better.
Spinning on my heels, I make my way back to my room, going straight for the bathroom.
