"He's right, we don't have enough information to work with," Kit agrees. “And that just pisses me off more!”

The pancakes arrive and even now, after seeing the amount of food they put away, I still find myself goggling at the carbs on one table. Austin, like me, is smothering his in syrup. Kit is chewing on his bacon. Lucas likes cream and strawberries on his. Sawyer's always look like a heart attack about to happen. Butter. Great big slabs of it, melting over the mountain. Not only that, he has chocolate chips scattered along the top.

There's silence as we all tuck in, hunger from their drills finally hitting them, at least all the drama talk stops because their mouths are too full. The relative calm in a busy Momma's ends the second Zac struts in. Everyone knows the beef happening between Zac and the BB crew, and it shows as most tables die down into a hush.

Shit. Shit. Shit!

To make matters worse, Zac is holding his cell up, like he's doing a video.

"As you can see the BB elite are in the house! Say hey to myInstagramfollowers!"

Oh my God. He’s doing a live feed! All four forks drop to their plates, the clang ricocheting off the walls in the silence.

I can't focus on the ball of emotions that sits heavy in my chest whenever I see Zac. I have to focus on making sure no one dies over their breakfast.

"And they have thelovelyMia with them!"

"I guess you want to die live on air," Lucas sneers.

Zac laughs. "And I'm sure my ratings will hit the roof!"

Who the fuck does he think he is? I hate him, way more than someone should hate a person. It’s deep-seeded, and terrifying. This kind of hate can never be good.

"So!" Zac continues like the death threat won't be followed through. He's so stupid. "How are the elite feeling after their boathouse was vandalized?"

Austin shoots to his feet, shocking me and the table, which has moved a good foot away from us, and into Lucas and Kit. But it doesn't matter because the other boys are standing too. I'm now faced with a wall of thick bodies. I sigh and stand and I'm still unable to see. I use the table as a vantage point and note that Zac has sauntered further into Momma's and closer to our table. What makes him think he will win any sort of battle with the boys?

"You know who did it?" Austin asks casually. But I see the rage popping along his neck.

He's about as casual as a viper ready to strike. I try to reach for him but he's already on the move. I jump down from the table and follow.

"All I hear are rumors, my man."

Zac's tone sends prickles along my skin. God. He's going to die. Live on hisInstagram. I pull my cell from my back pocket and ring Avery.

"Hey, sweets!"

"Trouble at Momma's. Come quick!"

"Already leaving," she tells me calmly. She’s my ride or die when it comes to this stuff.

I now flank the boys, like I'm going to get involved. What am I doing?Zac winks at me, holding his cell higher so his followers can get a real good view. I open upInstagramand find the feed.

Jesus.

Twenty-three thousand people are watching.

And I'm there, for every to see. This is evidence. The cops can use it. I don't think the crew are thinking about that. I'm not going to throw punches, but I can try to help in a different way. I tap on the three dots next to the comments. Ha! I press reportand click bullying. I wait. Surely others will see this feed and note that he wants to start a fight? Others who like us will report it, I’m sure.

Austin moves closer to Zac which instantly makes sweat ping on my hands. Yes! The feed goes black. "I'd check your live..." I inform Zac, smirking at him.

His face contorts as he checks. "You bitch!"

Austin doesn't allow Zac the freedom to walk himself outside, he grabs his jacket and hauls him. Half the patrons stampede to the windows, eager to see what will happen. I grab Sawyer's hand. "You have to stop it!"

Sawyer shrugs. "I can't."

Damn it. As I rush outside, Avery runs to me. "It was a live!"
