Winnie laughs as she rolls her eyes. I miss her warmth the moment she begins to slide out of bed. “Emma really has always been the dramatic one,” she explains. She grabs a cream-colored robe hanging on the back of the bathroom door and pulls it on.

I scowl, already missing the view of her perfect, naked body.

“Make sure you pull the covers over you,” Winnie instructs as she walks up to the door.

“You’re not opening it now,” I argue from the bed. I’m completely naked—and my cock is half-strained at the sight of her bare skin.

She tosses a smile over her shoulder, her cheeks turning pink with amusement. “I’m definitely opening it. Pull the covers up now, Archer.”

I let out an aggravated growl and pull the comforter all the way up, even covering my head as I hear Winnie pull the door open.

“Good morning,” Winnie says, her voice far too nice when her friends just rudely interrupted our sleep. Technically, we overslept, and she’s supposed to spend the day with them. I’m just grouchy that I won’t be able to bury myself in her all day.

“Have fun last night?” one of the voices asks, this one I recognize as Emma. She’s the fiery one, where Margo is a little more reserved. And then Camden’s girlfriend, Pippa, is funnier than I expected. She had me laughing last night.

“I slept great,” Winnie responds, her voice breaking a little.

The group of girls breaks out in a fit of laughter.

“Pippa found the best little coffee shop here that we already visited this morning while you were, uh…preoccupied,” Margo finishes, another giggle falling from her lips. I lift the corner of the comforter, taking in the sight at the door.

Winnie stands in front of Emma, Margo, and Pippa. Margo holds a coffee in her hands, pushing it into Winnie’s chest and waiting for her to take it.

“Hi, Archie,” Emma calls, popping her head around Winnie to give me a knowing smile. “Did you break in the Sinclairs’ new house last night?”

I’ve never been one to blush, but I feel my cheeks heat because of the four women all smiling at me with wide grins.

“My name is Archer,” I clip, sitting up in bed but keeping the covers pulled tight around me.

“Archie has a better ring to it.” Emma shrugs. “Winnie and Archie sounds adorable, you can’t deny that.”

“Emma,” Winnie whines, shaking her head at her friend.

“Emmadoeskind of have a point. Maybe we’ll have to start calling you Archie,” Pippa pipes up. Damn, I thought she might’ve been my favorite friend of Winnie’s, but maybe I’ll have to reconsider. Margo is the only one halfway minding her own business right now.

“Call me Archie again and Winnie and I are on the first flight back to Manhattan today,” I warn. My arms cross against my chest defensively as I stare at my wife’s beautiful smile.

Winnie takes a drink of the coffee Margo gave her. “He doesn’t mean that. We’re here to stay. But Idoneed to get ready, so if the three of you would give me ten minutes of privacy, that would be amazing.”

“Thirty,” I argue, my lips twitching with a budding smile.

Margo’s eyes go wide, Emma snickers, and Pippa’s eyebrows rise to her hairline with my comment.

“Should I arrange for our housekeepers today to replace your sheets?” Margo asks, trying her hardest not to laugh.

Pippa loses the battle behind her, a cough escaping from her chest as she tries but fails to fight a fit of laughter.

She’s far away, and I can only see her from the side, but I notice that even Winnie’s chest goes pink from embarrassment. I love watching her flush—it only makes me want to make herfriends disappear even more so I can get her alone and get back to memorizing every inch of her body.

“Probably for the best,” I say, answering Margo with a smirk on my lips.

Winnie shoots a look my way before outstretching her arms and attempting to shuffle her friends from the doorway. “Give me ten minutes and I’ll be ready to go.”

“Thirty,” I repeat under my breath but still loud enough for everyone to hear.

“If we get done early enough, we thought about hitting some of the shops in town,” Margo offers.

Winnie nods. “I’d love that! We can look for some pieces to decorate here.”
