Very. Her voice had turned stern as she stared back at me.

I went over to the other side of the bed and sat next to Nikita. She opened her eyes and glanced over to me. That’s when I realized that I could feel her contractions and that was what was happening this morning while I was out running. They were not too painful which was probably the reason she had stayed asleep until a few minutes ago.

“I’m right here my feisty Luna. Let’s get this pup out.” I whispered to her and she nodded. Kissing her forehead she barred down as Doc moved to the end of the bed.

“Okay Luna when you feel the next contraction I need you to push down.”

Two hours later Nikita was sitting up on the bed feeding our pup. She had done amazing through everything. There for a few moments I thought that it was going to be bad. The pain that she had gone through almost toppled me. But she fought through it and brought the most beautiful boy into this world.

Nurses had come in and weighed him and made sure everything was good. They even cleaned up anything that was soiled during the birth. I had moved over to the large balcony doors to give everyone room to do what they needed to do. Still standing here I couldn’t bring myself to bother her as she sat there with him in her arms.

When he opened his eyes they were her color. Which didn’t bother me at all. Nikita had beautiful eyes. Mine were dull in comparison to theirs. Doc was impressed with how he started to eat as soon as he was out and lying on her chest. The boy sure could eat.

I couldn’t take my eyes off of them. Nikita was doing great as a mother just like I thought that she would be. I never had a doubt in my mind that she would be the best at this along with being the Luna that my pack needed. And now the two on that bed would show the pack just how much this pack would grow.

“Why are you staring at me?” Nikita never looked up to me as she kept her eyes on our boy.

“Just looking at the two most important people in my life.” I moved from my spot by the window over to them and sat down beside them.

I very carefully ran the back of my finger over my son’s small chubby cheek. The soft mewl that came from him made the grin on my face more of a smile. His skin was soft against my aged finger. Turning my attention to Nikita, I pulled her to me as we sat there staring at the little pup that we made. The little pup snuggled in closer before he popped off her nipple. His little sigh while he relaxed in her arms made me happy. “I think we need another.”

Nikita socked me in the arm, it wasn’t too hard but she made sure to put a little strength into it. Rubbing where she socked me. She shook her head and giggled. “We can have another later. But right now he is all we need.”

Over the next few days the pack had brought in the things that they had made for the pup. We had finally decided on a name for the pup. Grayson was already alert and active. Just like any wolf pup. The entire pack was overjoyed and the doors were constantly opening to allow others in to come see the new alpha pup. Nikita had been near to pick him up and get him away from the many gathered wolves there giving him their gifts.

I stood in the corner watching as they all presented my son with the things that they had brought him. Harlen and Nathaniel stood by the door. Once he brought the rest of his pack over he found his mate in Jade, here in the Dolostone pack. He had quickly become part of the pack. Which was why I loved this pack so much they were normally very pleasant. Well, besides Jade giving Nikita an issue.

Since we had found the culprit and dealt with him. It was hard to put down a man who had gone mad from losing his mate. If I ever lost Nikita it would probably do me the same way but I’d probably off myself. Because I couldn’t live without her.

Alpha, Rhyolite Alpha is here. With his mother.

Thanks, Hank make sure they are brought here to the packhouse.

Of course Alpha.

I had spoken to Nolen a couple of days ago to see if he would come and bring his mother with him. He had told me that he would come. I didn’t tell him about the journal or that Nikita just might be his cousin. That was something that I wanted her to be able to tell them.

They arrived a few minutes after Hank mindlinked me. Making my way over to the door, I reached out my hand to Nolen and he took my hand.

“Thanks for coming. How was the trip over?”

“Good, just a little confused about why I needed to bring my mother.” Nolen chuckled as his mother came up beside him. It was the first time I had seen this woman but I could tell that she was related to my Luna. Nolen didn’t look a damn thing like his mother, he was his father’s clone.

“We need to talk about something and it involves both of you.”

“Really? Now, and why am I just now finding out?” Nolen glanced over to his mother. Who was staring at something over my shoulder.

“I would really like to meet that female over there with her pup.” His mother’s voice sounded in awe as slipped her arm from her son’s and headed over to my mate.

“Come with me and have your mother meet us in my office. I’ll get my mate.” Nolen nodded and I went over to my mate.

Nolen took hold of his mother’s arm and led her behind us to my office. I know that Nikita was nervous but they needed to talk. She needed to know her aunt and hopefully she would be able to tell her about her mother. Nikita had brought her mother’s journal to the office. She was hoping that Nolen’s mother would be able to tell her about the woman she had never gotten to meet.

Opening the door, I stepped aside and allowed Nikita to go in and then Nolen and his mother. I closed the door and headed to my desk. Taking in each of their faces. Nolen’s mother continued to stare at Nikita like she recognized her. Which made me wonder if she looked like her mother.

“So I brought you both here to first meet my boy but also to talk about some other things that may or may not bring us some insight.” I told them. Nolen nodded and then sat back on the couch that he was lounging on.

“Who are your parents?” Nolen’s mother’s question brought my gaze to her as she continued to stare at Nikita.
