Just thinking of Nolan as mine made me smile.

Nolan traced my mouth. “What are you thinking about?”

“You. Me. Us. And how much I want it to work.”

“We’ll take it as slow or fast as you want, baby. But for the next four days, let’s just have fun and get to know each other, okay? The rest of the world can wait.”

Delaying problems had never ended well for me before. And yet, I couldn’t resist the sexy man next to me.

My sexy man.

“Okay, I’ll try my best. Now, let’s hurry and grab some coffee on our way out. Because I’m eager to see what else you have planned for me.”

He kissed me. “Then let’s go, baby.” He moved to my ear to whisper, “Because I’m already thinking of more ways to take you later. Maybe on a beach or in a pool.”

“That doesn’t really reveal anything, does it? There are tons of beaches and pools in Mexico.”

“Yep.” He put a hand on my lower back. “Come on. The car should be here by now.”

Nolan guided me out of the airport and to the car and driver he’d booked. Once we were settled in the backseat, I was torn between laying my head on Nolan’s shoulder or looking at the window.

After interlacing his fingers with mine, Nolan said, “Go ahead and look. I want you to see as much as you can until I have to blindfold you.”

“You’re really doing that, aren’t you?”

He grinned. “You bet. And don’t worry, the area will be clear for us, so there’s no chance of some random person taking pictures.”

I suspected he’d paid a small fortune, again, to do something private for us.

At some point, we’d have to talk about that. I didn’t mind being spoiled sometimes, but I also didn’t want him to waste so much money on things for me. There was a line, and besides, I wanted him to have more funds for his charities.

Maybe he’d even take me to one of his centers and let me help out.

That’s in the future. Take the next few days to get to know Nolan and really decide if you can handle living in the spotlight.

Not wanting to ruin my first international trip, I pushed my worries aside and watched as the airport and buildings faded and soon morphed into a thick jungle.

I wondered if you could hear the birds and what it’d be like to walk through it, so much so I jumped when Nolan touched my cheek.

Blinking, I met his gaze. His eyes searched mine. “Sorry to interrupt, but we’re nearly there.” He held up a long strip of black material. “Time to put on the blindfold.”

I gave the window one last glance before turning toward Nolan. I’d have plenty of time to look at the scenery later. I knew how much this meant for Nolan—to treat me in a way his family rarely let him do.

Closing my eyes, I leaned forward. “Go ahead.”

His strong, warm fingers caressed my cheek a second before a soft fabric wrapped around my eyes and head. He tied it—I could tell by the slight pressure on my face—and then he kissed me. Not just a peck, but his tongue seamed my lips, and I opened.

As he stroked slowly and tangled with my tongue, there was something about not being able to see anything that made his heat and taste and touch that much more intense.

When he finally broke the kiss, I sighed and said, “I definitely want to keep this blindfold for later.”

His voice was husky as he replied, “Oh, that can be arranged. Maybe you’ll let me tie you up as well.”

The thought of being tied to a bed, blindfolded, as Nolan teased and stroked and played with me sent a rush of wetness between my thighs. Squirming in my seat, I said, “Don’t tease me like that until you can see it through.”

He cupped my face, his thumbs stroking back and forth. “Hmm, so you do want me to tease you later. I’ll remember that for when you beg for me to hurry up.”

As I tried to think of how to respond to that, I heard a car door open and a warm, light breeze caressed my skin.
