Was he embarrassed? My eyes widened as I stared out the window. He knew. He saw me on the cameras.

My teeth sank into my lip as I tried not to laugh. He was this big bad criminal, but seeing me pleasure myself had him turning red like a teenager. Heat pooled between my legs as I absorbed the fact that it was me who got under his skin.

I debated asking him about it. I wanted to see what he’d do.

“Nathan.” His throat bobbed as I said his name. My thighs clenched together in response. I loved seeing him react to me. “Were you watching my cameras last night?”

His blue gaze racked over me, twisting back to the road again. But I saw the change in them. They weren’t serene anymore. They burned with desire.

“Yes.” His voice was gruff and his hands tightened on the wheel.

Lust scorched across my skin. The fantasy coming to life had the breath stalling in my lungs. Maybe some people would be embarrassed. But I wouldn’t have done it if I couldn’t handle someone watching.

The idea had made me come hard. But this, seeing his reaction, was even better. It fueled this crush I had. This curiosity.

I turned in my seat so I could watch him. I wanted to crawl across the distance so I could touch him. Feel his heart beating in his chest and discover if it was as erratic as I imagined.

“Did you see me come?” My words were a whisper, but I knew he heard them. The color crept down his neck as he avoided my gaze.

He gave a jerky nod. My lips curled into a smile. I never thought someone like him would be so sweet. So shy. I fucking loved it. He was adorable.

It made me want to mess him up. Learn how far I could push him before he snapped. Before he let go.

“Why would you do that?” His question wasn’t harsh. More curious and confused. “You knew I was watching.”

“Why do you think?” I leaned over the console, cursing that I hadn’t worn a more revealing top. It didn’t stop him from looking at me. From eating me up with his eyes. They moved across my face, reading my expression. Seeing into my mind.

I wasn’t a mysterious creature. I wanted him. As bad of an idea as it was, I did. And I decided in this moment that I was going to have him. I should at least get something out of being attacked.

He focused back on the road like he was trying hard not to look at me. It was probably a good thing since he was driving. But dying in a car crash almost seemed like a great idea if he was touching me while it happened.

His tongue swept across his bottom lip and I had to fight not to close the distance and follow the path with my own. “Because you wanted me to watch.”

My smile spread as I moved closer. He tensed as my hand landed on his upper thigh. But I could see his cock hardening beneath his jeans.

His lust fed my own. I loved this part. The foreplay. The beginning before it all shattered.

He shifted the car into park, but put his hands back on the wheel as if he was afraid to touch me. Like he was worried what he’d do. I wanted to find out. Wanted to push him and see him come apart.

My lips brushed his ear, and he shivered. “Did you enjoy watching me?”

“Yes.” His breath ghosted across my cheek and my nipples hardened.

“Did you touch yourself wishing it was me?” Wetness pooled between my legs as I pictured it. There was nothing like the feeling of being wanted. Of being the object of someone’s desire. “Did you come like a good boy?”

Nathan’s eyes widened as his head jerked to me. Our lips brushed. Oxygen left my lungs, and he swallowed it down. An inch and we’d be kissing.

Energy coursed through my body. Lust sparked along my skin. My blood hummed to do it. To see if reality would live up to my fantasy.

His gaze darkened as it caressed over my lips, shooting up to my eyes again. My heart hammered in my chest. My pussy pulsed with need.

But before he could answer. Before I could close the distance between us, his door opened. I fell back into my seat, jumping apart like we hadn’t almost been about to kiss.

“Good, you’re here,” Vander said, his features drawn tight as I looked up at him. It was then I noticed we weren’t at the club.

I’d been so distracted by Nathan I hadn’t been paying attention to where we were going. I glanced up at the beautiful craftsman style mansion as I stepped from the car. It seemed to be on the outskirts of the city. There were other houses around, but they weren’t close by.

“She’s inside.” Nathan fell in step beside me as Vander led us to the front door. My body tried to react to his. I felt myself leaning in, but the worry in Vander’s voice forced me to focus.
