His words leave me speechless.

Revenge. It’s always about revenge.

“Sign the contract, little sunflower. Because whether you want it or not, this is happening. So put your pretty name on there before I make you.”

I need to find a way to turn this around. I need to find some semblance of a silver lining.

I’m going to be the owner of hotels for his criminal organizations. They will belong to me. I’m fucking covered. I could leave him and have something that is mine. Excitement rushes alongside the arousal through my veins until something hits me right in the face.

“The prenup,” I groan.

Fucking bastard. He chooses to finger me harder over saying anything.

“You made me sign the prenup because you knew there would be value attached to my name down the line. If I leave, if I die, the hotels will go back to…to you.”

Sweat pearls down my back, my orgasm so close I could cry.

“See? You’re very smart. Your reading pace doesn’t define your intelligence. Now sign so I can make my wife come on my kitchen island. This is your last warning.”

I lick my lips, panting, as I press the ball of the pen to the document.

His fingers pump faster, and my hand traces my signature on the paper before crashing flat on the counter as I’m overtaken by euphoria.

I roll my hips, riding his hand and taking anything I can from him. Every day, he takes a little more of my sanity. At least I get some pleasure in return.

My arms give up, and I let my chest fall onto the marble. He kisses my shoulder, my neck, the back of my head.

“Don’t worry, baby, you’re never leaving. And I’d kill myself a hundred times over before I let anything happen to you. Those hotels are yours, and any profits will be yours. Separate account and all.”

“For real?” I whisper, hardly believing anything he says.

“For real. You’re taking all the risk, after all. I told you, if I die, my siblings can have everything that’s mine. But those hotels are yours. If anything happens to me, I want you to be able to live a comfortable life.”

My heart squeezes painfully in my chest, making me realize two things that I completely refuse to accept.

One, Nate can be caring when he wants to be, and that’s utterly terrifying.

Two? I don’t want anything to happen to him.

I push him off me so I can stand and look at him.

Fuck. The man forced me to sign another contract that could send me to prison, and all I can think about is the business opportunity he just threw my way. All I can think about is that I would have done exactly the same because it’s smart as fuck.

And all I can think about is that it feels really good to be given a chance to rule by his side.

“Those hotels.” I lick my lips, wondering if I’m making a huge mistake helping him, but I go for it anyway. “That’s where the Wolves sell their women. Some of the rooms are reserved all year long for trafficking and…and for the buyers to enjoy themselves.”

He stays passive for a few seconds, swallowing the information.

“So, now that they don’t own the hotels through Campbell anymore, I not only took away where they were laundering money, but also the places that helped their sex ring function?”

I nod slowly. “Two birds, one stone.”

A smile spreads on his face.

“Oh, baby. I love when you play the gangster game with me.” Grabbing me by my hips, he lifts me on the counter, and spreads my legs. “Let’s destroy the fucking world.”

His hard cock is out in less time than it takes me to drag him closer.
