"I knew I could," I say with a smug grin. "I just needed to convince him."
We both chuckle knowingly as the guys exchange a confused look.
"Do we even want to know?" Griffin calls out, running a hand through his hair.
Ivy shakes her head, and he laughs.
"No. It's a best friend thing."
Kevin smiles, his gaze falling to our laced hands.
I know what he's thinking. We got each other, but we didn't lose Ivy. Instead, we're one big happy family and couldn't wish for anything more.
Well…maybe a few more kids, but that's another story…
