The softness of the sheets provides a comforting backdrop to our intimate moment. His eyes are blazing with a wild and primal energy, and my heart races in anticipation of what is to come. He runs his fingers through my hair, tracing ever so lightly across my scalp, and then his lips move to my neck, gently nibbling and licking my skin as I gasp in pleasure. His tongue makes its way lower, exploring every inch of my body as his hands continue to caress my curves. His breath is hot and heavy, and his hands moved up my body, cupping my breasts as he kisses my nipples. His wet tongue sends shivers down my spine, each touch more electrifying than the last.

Am I lucky enough to get to do this for the rest of my life? We haven't been together long, but I can see a future with Adonis. White picket fence, kids, the whole shebang.

His hands move down my waist, gently tugging at the waistband of my panties before slipping them down my legs. His fingers move in circles around my clit, sending waves of pleasure. I moan louder, my senses heightening as his fingers move faster and harder, pushing me to the brink of pleasure.

He takes me off of him and puts me on my back. He presses himself between my legs before he enters me, inch by inch. I gasp in pleasure as he moves his hips, his thrusts growing more intense with each passing moment. He moves faster and faster, my body trembling with each thrust.

He moves his hand down my body, tracing circles around my clitoris as he continues to move inside me. His fingertips find the sensitive spot inside me, sending shockwaves coursing through my body as I let out a long, deep moan. His thrusts grow harder and deeper, and my body arches against his as we move together in perfect harmony.

Adonis moves his mouth to mine, his lips pressing against mine as he pushes me closer and closer to my climax. His tongue explores my mouth, each movement more passionate than the last, and my body trembles with pleasure as I finally reach my peak. He shudders against me as he reaches his own climax, our bodies quiver together.

We lay there afterwards, our bodies still intertwined, a gentle afterglow filling the room. Adonis kisses me slowly.

He brushes the hair from my eyes. "You are sure you are happy with me?"

Why is he suddenly questioning our relationship? All because of Tim?

Since meeting Adonis, I have felt seen and heard on every level. He has been gentle, loving, and kind.

"You are my light in the darkness... I never thought I'd ever fall in love again, but you came into my life and showed me exactly what I deserved...."

Adonis showed me the beauty of a healthy relationship. He was honest, open, and communicative. He showed me that it was okay to be myself and to express my feelings and opinions without fear. He was always there to listen and to offer his support and guidance. He believed in me and in our future together.

"Tim never treated me as an equal. You do, and I love you for that."

Adonis showed me that I was worth more than Tim had ever given me. He showed me that I deserved to be loved unconditionally, without conditions or expectations. He showed me that I deserved to be respected and cherished.

"I'm sorry," he shakes his head. "Your ex contacting you is really screwing with my brain, and I keep seeing you going back to him... it's replaying over and over in my head."

"Listen to me... I love you, Adonis. Not Tim. The only person I ever want to sleep next to is you. Stop letting him get to you, that's exactly what he wants."

He looks into my eyes, smiles, and pulls me close. "I fucking love you."

Raven

I go about my work day at the diner, tending to customers and refilling drinks, when I hear a familiar voice behind me. When I turn around to see Tim, my heart falls to my stomach. What the hell is he doing here?

I have been working at the diner for the past two months, and luckily I get the morning shift today. The clinking of dishes, the smell of fresh-brewed coffee, and the banter of the regulars are my favorite. It is a comforting familiarity knowing most do the same routine every morning.

But this morning it is different. As I am refilling a customer's coffee cup, I hear an all-too-familiar voice call out my name. I spin around, my heart dropping to my stomach, and there he is: Tim, the man who broke my heart and ended our relationship weeks before we were set to get married.

He is still as handsome as ever, his brown hair sweeps across his forehead, and his eyes glinting like they used to. What is he doing here?

He smiles at me and says, "I heard you were working here."

I don't know what to say, I'm too shocked to even form a sentence. He keeps talking, "I spoke to your boyfriend and he seems to think that you don't have feelings for me anymore. Is that true?"

His eyes are red and puffy, as if he has been crying. His usual clean-shaven face is covered in stubble, and his shirt is rumpled and stained.

For a moment, the two of us stare at each other in silence. "Raven, I don't have the right to ask this of you, but I'm begging you to take me back," he says, his voice trembling. "I hurt you, and I'm sorry for that. I was wrong, and I'm here to admit it."

Tears sting my eyes, but I refuse to let them fall. I want to believe what he is saying, to forgive him and move on, but I am still hurt and confused. And I've moved on.

I open my mouth to speak, but before I can say anything, Tim continues.

"I don't deserve your forgiveness," he says. "But I need to make things right. I need you. Please, take me back."
