“Nora, you’re my best friend,” Micah says, and I smile at the ebony eyed tiger brother with the sweetest smile. “I can’t imagine spending the rest of my life without you in it. Please, will you mate with me?”

“She’s already mated you, you idiot,” Cevon snaps. With a snarl, he grabs the ring from Voss, and jumps to his feet.

“No, no, no,” I say, shaking my head. My lion mate pauses, and I smile through watery tears. “I want everyone to say something.”

“Of course you do,” Mal says, with a smile.

“Nora, from the moment you stepped into my house, your scent has always managed to entice me,” Griffin says, before smirking. “Although, I do like it better now that you’re clean.”

“Asshole,” Cevon whispers and I’m not sure if he thinks I can’t hear him.

I turn to Orson next, and my bear mate positively beams at me. “You’re the future mother of my children, little cub. There’s nobody else I want by my side for eternity.” I wipe away the tears that are dripping down my cheeks, and smile at him. “You made me realise that I don’t want to live a life of solitary anymore.”

“Of course I had to go after that,” Mal mutters, and I grin. “Nora, from the moment I met you, you were a pain in my ass. You spent weeks denying our bond, and pretending you weren’t the strong wolf I knew you were. But watching you over the last several months grow into your own has proven time and time again that fate made us mates because you’re the perfect match for me. I love you, little warrior. Please, be mien.”

Cevon turns to look at them all, and I can hear the guff in his words. “You’re lucky she already bonded you fuckers, because you botched this proposal.”

And then he stalks forward, and gets down on one knee. “Please be my wife, along with my mate,” he says, opening the box as he meets my eyes. “And I suppose those fuckers behind us can join in too.”

I laugh, and nod, as Cevon slides the beautiful ring up my finger. It’s a perfect fit, which shouldn’t surprise me with this group, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s twinkling in the light, the giant diamond in a heart shape, and I guarantee it’s quite a few carats. There are seven different coloured jewels—diamonds?—around the band, and I’m in love with it.

It’s so pretty, so perfect, so mine.

“I love you all so much,” I whisper, as they rise to their feet.

Getting here has been a hard journey, and a lot has happened, but I’m on my way to getting the happiness I’ve worked so hard for.

It’s worth it. It’s always been worth it.

Because after all… Happiness is Earned.
