She rolled her eyes.

“You say that all the time.”

“’Cause it's true.”

She laughed under her breath, shaking her head.

“You so damn spoiled.”

“I'm spoiled?” she teased.

“Damn right.”

She smiled before reaching up and running her fingers through my hair while I sat there looking at her like I couldn't get enough.

“You been staring at me since you came out the shower.”

“I know.”

“So what?”

“I like looking at my wife.”

Heat crept into her cheeks.

“You trying to be smooth?”

“I ain't trying.”

I leaned in and brushed my lips against hers.

It started off soft. Just enough to make her smile into the kiss.

When I pulled back, she was still looking at me.

“What?” I asked.

“I love this side of you.”

“What side?”

“The one only I get to see.”

A grin spread across my face.

“Good.”

I slipped one arm beneath her knees and the other around her back before lifting her off the couch.

“Kyrie.” She laughed, wrapping her arms around my neck. “Boy, put me down.”

“Nawl.”

“I can walk.”

“I know.”

“Then why you carrying me?”
