I flush and slide my hand out of his.

He studied me.

It was sort of unnerving to say the least.

“You are very pretty Raven.” he says to me as he goes back to his post next to us.

He was well over six feet tall and had the build of a football player or something.

He was really cute, but I couldn’t help but look around to see if I could spot the guy from earlier.

“Where is Sullivan at? Smoking behind the tent or some shit?” Charlie asks as he leans forward on the railing.

“He should be over here in a minute. We are both over here for the shift.” Sebastian says as he folds his arms over his chest.

Who is Sullivan?

The ride shakes and moves as screaming can be heard from the top of the exposed ride.

My nerves started up and I knew I might throw up.

“You nervous?” I hear whispered at me. Charlie somehow wiggled his way back to me.

I shake my head. “Not at all.”

“Perfect. Because, it’s go time.” he says and I look forward to see the line is moving.

I hand over my ticket to Sebastian and climb up the steps leading to the ride.

“Be careful. Make sure you’re strapped in.” he says to all of us.

I can’t help but look back to see him staring directly at me. I was about to turn around as we were paused on the steps, when I felt someones eyes on mine.

Looking a little to the left, I see the guy from earlier.

He was walking towards the ride in a slow, deliberate pace.

I soaked him in as I watched him walk.

He was magnetic.

His dark eyes were on me as he got closer and closer and my heart couldn’t stop the flutters in it.

What the hell was happening?

Now, he was tall. Well over six feet as well. Dark hair, lightly curled over his ears. He was lanky, and the uniform that was over his frame melted beautifully on him. He was lean for sure, but not overly bulky at all.

His jaw was sharp and his eyes were intense as he approached.

“Sullivan, you’re finally here.” I hear Sebastian call out to the mystery man.

He breaks our eye contact to look over at the man beside us.

“Mhm.” is all the mystery man says.

“Rave. Come on.”

I snap my head forward and walk up the remaining steps.
