“I know. We have a lot to catch up on. After you get everyone squared away, Arturo will bring you to the safe house.” I felt tears well up in my eyes. “I am so sorry it took me so long to get your out.”
She cupped my face in her hands. “My sweet girl. None of this is your fault, ok?” She stroked my cheek wiping the tears from my face. “You have grown into such a beautiful woman.”
I pulled her into another big hug. “I will see you later. If you need anything, have Arturo or Marco call me.”
“Okay.”
I walked back to Arturo. “Luka insists one of the men go with me.” I shook my head and rolled my eyes.
He smiled at me. “He texted me, Dante is already outside waiting for you.”
“Keep me updated.” I walked out and got into the passenger seat.
