Chapter 11:

Aurora stayed the night at Aiden’s penthouse. She dropped a message to Trisha, telling her she would be home on Sunday.

The night was filled with each other, but not with talking. Aiden had a way of making her melt into him. No matter the thoughts going through her head about the relationship, the baby or the new job; he somehow made all that melt away and seem like a dream.

Sitting together so close, Aurora started to tell him how beautiful the house was. He leaned over to her and took her into his arms. Aiden shushed her with his mouth on hers. His body engulfed her in heat as he crushed her against him with his passionate kisses.

“I missed you” he murmured in between kissing and undressing her. Aurora helped him with her buttons as they both started to warm up in anticipation.

Aiden stood back after he pulled her clothing off and looked at her naked body with a carnal look in his eye.

Aurora, for the first time in her life, was not even shy or self-conscious of her body, and stretched seductively on the couch with a smile to him.

Aidens eyes went wide in surprise, and then he smiled darkly with lust. He chuckled a little and pounced on her. His hands come up to Auroras chest and the rough skin of his hands make a chill run down her spine. Lowering his head, he takes one of her nipples into his mouth.

He takes her body onto his and gently, and oh so exquisitely, plays her like a violin; knowing every place to touch and kiss and caress. He makes love to her slowly and with the skill only a man of his years could possibly have. Aiden pushes over and over and won’t stop, the heat building in her until a primal moan escapes from Aurora; and that’s all it takes to make Aiden loose himself.

The next morning, when Aurora woke up, Aiden was not in bed with her.

She laid there feeling the glow of an exhausting but blissful night. They had sex in different rooms of his house all night long like teenagers. Aurora suddenly felt the heat rise to her cheeks thinking about it and smiled to herself.

She got up and found her phone from her bag and checked the notifications.

She had missed calls from Ethan and her dad.

Shit, she still had to tell her father too.

She wasn’t quite sure how he would react, but she had a feeling he wouldn’t be as harsh as Ethan. Aurora’s dad had never said no to her. Maybe it was because he felt guilty that Aurora had to sacrifice going to college for him. In the end, he would give Aurora his blessing.

Aurora was tearing up just thinking about him. She realized she really missed him. She had never been away from her dad in so long.

“What’s wrong?” Aiden stood at the door of the bedroom. He was wearing just black boxers.

“Oh, nothing. I just miss Dad,” Aurora said, sighing as she sat down on the bed. Aiden walked over to her and took her in his arms.

“You got up early?” She asked him, putting her head on his shoulder as they sat on the bed together.

“Yeah, I got an urgent work call,” Aiden said.

“I need to call Ethan,” Aurora said, feeling a bit nervous.

“Yeah, you should. I’ll make us some breakfast. You like scrambled eggs?” He said, getting up. Aurora nodded as he left the room. She dialed Ethan’s number.

Ethan answered on the second ring. “Hello?”

“Hey, sorry I missed your call.”

“It’s okay. How are you?” Ethan asked, nonchalantly. There was the sound of people chattering in the background.

“I’m fine. Are you at the office?”

“No, I’m at the gym. It’s Saturday, Aurora.” Ethan laughed. Were things fine between them now?

“Oh, yeah. Listen, Ethan I’m sorry about the airport. I didn’t want you to find out like that.”

“Aurora, it’s fine. As long as you’re happy, I’m happy.” Ethan sounded genuine, no trace of anger or hidden contempt in his voice. Aurora felt a huge burden lift off her shoulders.

“But tell Aiden I’ll kill him if he does anything to hurt you,” Ethan said. Aurora laughed but deep down she wished she would never be hurt by Aiden either.
