It was hella amusing, but definitely a little terrifying.

Ian was a few months older than Love Bug, and from what little I’d seen of the baby so far, a living terror. Yet when he reached out to touch Love Bug’s back, he was oddly gentle. His mouth moved, gurgling something to her that made her giggle loudly enough that all eyes shifted to them.

“Tell me that’s not weird as fuck,” Cannon muttered.

“What?” I asked with a frown.

“Love Bug and Ian. That could easily be Violet and Luca two decades ago.”

“They’re babies, dumbass,” I admonished. “And Luca wouldn’t let that happen. He’s raising Love Bug as his daughter. They’re cousins.”

“Not by blood,” Cannon said with a shrug. “And we were all raised as cousins, more or less. That didn’t stop Luca and Vi from being together. Or you and my sister.”

“That’s because we’re soul mates,” I growled at him. “We were meant to be together. Like your parents and mine.”

He tossed me a smirk before glancing back at the twins. “Exactly.”

“I’m not having this conversation, and you should keep your mouth shut too. Luca is just looking for a reason to kick your ass again.”

A giggle drew my gaze, and I found Shaw walking toward me. Behind her, Vi was moving toward Luca and Lyric. She took Love Bug from her boyfriend while he pouted down at her. Shaking my head, I shifted back to watch Shaw. She looked beautiful in her blue dress. The blue was closer to my eye shade than her own, something I hadn’t missed when she’d slipped into the clingy little thing before asking me to zip her up earlier.

All I’d been able to think about was peeling it off her again later.

Before she reached me, she jumped, wrapping her long legs around my waist. I barely had time to grab and secure her before she kissed me senseless. Vaguely I heard her brother huff, but he didn’t move away, and I wasn’t going to stop kissing the love of my life because he didn’t want to see it.

When Shaw lifted her head, her lips were swollen, and I knew my hair was a mess as she continued to run her fingers through it. “I have a surprise for you,” she murmured, licking her lips.

My eyes locked on the movement. “Does it have anything to do with you and me upstairs in my old bedroom?”

“Nope, sorry.” Laughing, she gave me another quick kiss. “But I’m hoping you’ll enjoy it.”

“Maybe you plan on sneaking into the bathroom for a quickie?” I guessed again.

“Brother. Standing right here.”

“Shut up, Cannon,” Shaw and I both said in unison without sparing him a glance.

Shaw scraped her nails down the back of my neck, and I had to bite back a groan as my muscles started to relax, yet my dick began to pulse. “You’re having a guys’ night. Starting now.” Behind her, a grumbling Luca and Lyric, both sans babies in their arms, were being pulled along by Violet. Their identical gazes locked on Cannon, open disdain in their odd brown eyes. Whatever the plan was, they weren’t going to be the best fun because Cannon was going to be a part of the action.

Seeing the tiny woman towing the giant twins behind her was enough to make anyone blink a few times. Yet even though they dragged their feet, Vi didn’t have to put much effort into pulling them through the crowd. They might not want to do whatever she’d conned them into, but they wouldn’t let her down. Or me. Growing up, the twins were the closest things to brothers I’d had, other than Cannon’s stupid ass.

There were a few times I’d gotten into trouble right beside Luca and Lyric, and there may have been a time or two that I’d dragged them into my own shit. But every time, the three of us knew that we wouldn’t let one another down. It had never mattered that we weren’t related by blood. The twins were my people, and I loved those two assholes wholeheartedly.

After she wiggled her ass in my hands, I reluctantly placed Shaw on her feet so she could turn to face the twins. “Your mission is to take him out and make him have the time of his life.” Her blue eyes narrowed. “But if I so much as hear a whisper that strippers were involved, your women will never find your bodies.”

Lyric glanced over his shoulder to where Mila was standing with Uncle Jesse, who now held Ian while she rocked Isaac in her arms. Beside them, Uncle Shane had Love Bug in his arms, kissing on her as he rocked her back and forth much like I’d seen Luca do over the past few days.

“I’m more scared of her than I am of you,” Lyric told Shaw deadpan as he faced her again.

“I’ve never been to a strip club and don’t plan on checking one out now,” Luca assured her. “But where are you two going to be while we’re out?”

“Girls’ night,” she said with a shrug. “Mila and the others will be joining us, while the grandparents take the kids.”

“I mean afterward,” Luca corrected, draping his arm over Vi’s shoulders. “I want to know what bed I’m sleeping in tonight.”

“We’re going back to the house,” Violet told him, sinking her teeth into her bottom lip. “That’s where I have a little party set up for the girls.”

“What house?” Lyric demanded.
