“I got an advance copy from a friend. I’ve got to say I was disappointed that I wasn’t one of the characters in the book; you know, the sexy rock star that wins Sophie Stewart’s heart? Seriously though, I always knew that Meg was destined for great things and I’m really proud of her.”
Kaan isn’t dating anyone right now, especially as his international tour is about to get underway, but I probed the Miz Martin angle a little more.
“I feel like my personal life has become a bit of a national pastime. I don’t like the headlines. Let’s just say I found someone who was very special, and I screwed it up. Now? I’ve got a tour that starts next week and I’m just going to concentrate on that.”
As our interview reached its final moments, I couldn’t resist asking Kaan about his future plans.
“I’ve got a very special project coming up.”
I pressed further, but he waved me off, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. “Trust me if it all goes smoothly the world will know soon enough!”

Max UK has just announced that they will be adapting Meg Martin’s international bestselling novel, “Sophie Stewart Is Single”, into a series! As a die-hard fan, I couldn’t be more thrilled to see this book come to life on the small screen.
But the real question on everyone’s mind is: who will play the title role of Sophie Stewart? Rumour has it that producers are eyeing Daisy Reyes for the role, which would be spot-on casting considering she looks like she could be Miz Martin’s twin!
Speaking of Miz Martin, the author herself has just arrived in Istanbul for a break. We all remember the last time she was in Istanbul, don’t we? That’s right she was with the one and only, Kaan!
And, while we’re on the subject of Kaan, he’s been MIA since wrapping up his sold-out world tour at the O2 Arena. Could it be possible that he and Miz Martin are rekindling their romance? The timing is certainly suspicious.
If you’re a fan of Kaan’s music (and who isn’t), then you know that he poured his heart and soul into his hit song, “Shattered Pieces” which, as he revealed to me exclusively, is about his relationship with Miz Martin. As the two are both in Istanbul at the same time, could we be in for another heart-wrenching ballad from the musical genius?
Only time will tell how this love story plays out. But one thing is for sure, if Miz Martin and Kaan do get back together, there’s sure to be a lot of shattered hearts, mine included.

“Meg! Over here!”
My friends call out in unison, their arms flailing wildly in the air. They are all seated on a terrace, gazing out at the stunning view of Istanbul. The mishmash of buildings is like puny ants compared to the magnificent Galata Tower towering above them all.
The whole crew had jetted off to Istanbul to celebrate Ginny’s bun in the oven. With pink balloons and hearty laughs, we’ve been having a blast spending time with Ginny and her partner Aydin. Courtney and Camilla love the nightlife in Istanbul and have been out dancing every night until dawn while Nate fell into lust at first sight with Leyla, and they are now inseparable.
But me? Well, I’ve got a little something else on my mind. I glance over at the towering building in front of me, I know I’ve got one final piece of baggage to deal with. And no, I’m not talking about the extra weight I’ve gained from all the Turkish delight I’ve been devouring.
“Which one of you picked this spot?”
“This istheplace to be seen in Istanbul right now.” Ginny chuckles while sipping her mocktail. She isn’t allowed any celebratory bubbles until the baby arrives. “The view is just an added bonus.”
I shoot her a withering look. “Rubbish!”
“Plus, we wanted to celebrate your success, Meg.” Ginny hands me a glass of champagne. “Bestselling author and now a TV show! We’re all so proud of you!”
Nate raises his beer. “I told you your book would be a best-seller, Meggsy!”
“Actually, what you said was, ‘Sounds like a bunch of rubbish, Meggsy’.”
Nate grins. “Doesn’t sound like me at all.”
