“It could be. I feel the same.”

My mouth went wide. “I really need you to teach me how to control my thoughts.”

He dropped a kiss on my lips. “I will, but your thoughts make me happy.”

He stepped through the door, and I followed. Once inside, he held his hand out to me. Without a word, we headed for his bedroom, and then into the bathroom where I hoped we’d have some sexy time in his bathtub.

ChapterTen

Antoine

After a fun time in my bathtub, I left Donna to finish getting dressed and headed down to the kitchen. The smell of food filled my nostrils, making me ravenous, especially after all the sex I’d had early that morning.

Jeanie was singing along to some cheesy tune on the radio. I couldn’t help but chuckle.

The singing stopped.

“I can hear you laughing at me, young man.”

The names she called me would always make me laugh. I strode in and gave her a bear hug.

“You know very well I’m ancient. It’s you who’s young.”

She stood back and studied me. “I sometimes forget that. You’re just a big kid and you need to remember I know all the games you and the De Laurentis boys played on me in the past.”

“That sounds interesting. Care to fill me in?”

Donna’s voice sent tremors through my body. It would never get old listening to her speak. Her voice was so sweet and gentle.

She walked up to me and kissed me lightly on the lips.“Sweet and gentle. Aww, that’s so cute. I can be bad too, you know?”She winked and walked over to Jeanie.

“You’re lucky we’re not alone, babe.”

“Oh, and why’s that?”

Fuck, her teasing tone was calling to my dick again.“Because if we were, I’d show you exactly how I handle bad girls.”

She let out a shocked giggle, her cheeks blooming with heat.

Jeanie cleared her throat and looked from me to Donna and back again. Her eyebrows were raised, and her arms were folded across her chest.Uh-oh. Busted.

“Are you two using telepathy?”

My own cheeks were burning, and Inevergot embarrassed.

“Actually, don’t answer that. It’s probably for the best I don’t know.”

“I’m going out to speak to Mac. He was looking at a problem with my bike.”

“Coward,”she whispered in my mind.

My mouth pulled into a big grin. I loved this side of her. It meant she was feeling a little more settled. This didn’t mean our problems were over or that she’d trust me enough to let me convert her. There was still a way to go.

“I’m trying. Be patient with me. This is a huge learning curve.”

I brushed her mind with a gentle caress.“I know. Don’t forget, after we’ve had breakfast, we’ll sit down and study the book together.”
