“Oh, the sass on this one,” Nica said with a laugh as he sat up, leaned over Weylyn, and caught Theon’s mouth with his.
“We can be a little late for breakfast,” Wey added before stealing Theon’s mouth from Nica.
Florin turned to me with a smile, ran his fingers over my tusk, then cupped my cheek and kissed me. Hard. When he pulled away, Theon’s lips took his place, and for a long time, I was lost in a sea of lips, hands, and skin, happier than I ever could’ve imagined.
The future was still uncertain. We still had many things to do. Like helping Theon with his terrible brother, the king of Enos. There were many people to save from the mages’ rule. But for now, in this moment, I was happy.Wewere happy. We were safe. We were healthy.
And most importantly, we were together.
No matter where this life took us, I planned to ensure we stayed that way for the rest of our lives.
