“It’s not pathetic. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a grouch and difficult to deal with but he’s actually mean to you. Which makes me wonder if there’s a reason behind it. Maybe he’s fighting his attraction to you.”
“He’s not attracted to me.”
Felix raises an eyebrow. “You don’t think Aksel is just as obsessed with you as the rest of us? Watch this,” Felix says softly. Then, he raises his voice and shouts, “Anna! What happened to you!”
Five seconds later Aksel comes crashing down the stairs with his shirt half-buttoned. I’ve never seen him not put together.
“What’s wrong?” He demands.
His eyes search every inch of me but can’t find the imaginary issue.
“Sorry, I thought she was bleeding but she’s fine,” Felix says smirking.
Aksel glares at him. “You should be more observant or you might lose your spot on the team.”
He finishes buttoning up his shirt, turns around, and leaves.
“He sends some mixed signals. Just don’t give him anything until he apologizes,” Felix says around his laughter.
“Deal.”
He leans in to kiss me again, pulling me flush against his body. I can feel every hard inch of him. His hands snake down to grip my ass making me moan into his mouth.
“Damn, the lust is pouring off you two.” Griffyn’s voice breaks us apart.
I look over at him while Felix lets me go.
“I have to get ready, so I guess it’s your lucky day Griff.” Felix basically passes me into his arms.
I want to complain but Griffyn sweeps me up so I’m pressed against him and face to face. His grip on my thighs is tight as he stares down at me like I’m his next meal.
“Damn, I kind of hate you right now,” Felix says.
I glance back to see him walking upstairs. Griffyn starts kissing my neck as we follow him up.
Griffyn nibbles on my ear trying to tempt me into bed with him.
“Vixen. I’m going out on shift tomorrow morning.Anythingcould happen to me,” Griffyn says, trailing his hand up my leg.
“I’m going out tonight,” Felix points out while changing into his black combat clothes.
“Shh, ignore him,” Griffyn whispers.
There’s no way I could ignore my sexy snow leopard shifter mate while he’s changing but I don’t say that aloud.
“We should go down to see them off,” I say once Felix is dressed and has attached all his weapons to his body.
Griffyn throws himself back on the bed dramatically. “Do we have to?”
“Did you know we are taking Aksel’s car tonight?” Felix asks.
Griffyn shoots off the bed, pulling me behind him with his hand in mine. Felix and I both laugh when we make it to the living room and Griffyn sits there all perked up and excited.
My mate pulls me into his arms on the couch. Blaze comes and joins us, once again watching Felix and I interact.
Felix is nibbling on my ear when Aksel screams from the garage.
“What the fuck is this?”
