“I need to see Parker.” I get up and go to the door of the room.

When I open it, I see Sean leaning against the other wall, talking with Danny, Jillian’s Alpha mate.

I smile at my Alpha as he straightens up.

“Where’s Parker?” I ask, making his pale blue eyes widen.

“You remember?” he asks, sounding so hopeful.

“I remember,” I echo, stepping out of the room and pushing onto my tiptoes to kiss him. “Where did he go?”

“He went back to the apartment,” Sean tells me.

I glance back at Dante.

“You want me to take us there?” he asks.

I smile at him. “I think I remember how to do it.”

His mouth drops open before I send him to the street outside the apartment, along with Jillian, Danny and Sean. I close my eyes and teleport myself after I’ve sent them over.

It feels good to have magic. I can’t believe I could ever forget about it.

Chapter fifty-nine

Parker

Walkingbacktotheapartment, I’m ready to beat the absolute shit out of that bastard Jake. If there’s even the slightest chance that Amanda’s not going to get her memories back, I’m going to chain him up in one of the storage sheds out back and use him as a personal punching bag until he’s nothing more than a rotting pile of flesh and a broken bundle of bones.

No one gets to hurt my mate like he has.

It makes me so fucking mad that I didn’t do enough to scare him off the first time.

He shouldn’t have had a chance to come back here and make things worse.

There won’t be a single other opportunity for him.

This ends today, it ends now.

I stalk down the street toward the apartment, only coming to a stop when Dante and Jillian appear on the pavement out of nowhere, followed by Sean and Danny a foot away from them a second later.

I blink when Amanda appears, my heart racing at the sight of her smiling face.

She sees me and runs toward me.

I catch her in my arms and spin her around, my back to the others so I can keep my mate to myself.

She wraps her arms around me, and I lean in to kiss her.

She kisses back, and I feel all the anger draining out of me.

My mate is safe, and she remembers me. She remembers us.

I see it in her eyes when she breaks the kiss. The way she looks at me, I know before she even speaks.

“I love you,” she murmurs.

I can’t keep from smiling. “You got your memories back.”
