"Aye. Ya are," he declares and points at the staircase to the plane. "After ya, princess."

"Gee, thanks, babes," I coo and go up the steps.

A flight attendant chirps, "Hi, I'm Chloe. Ya must be the new Mrs. O'Connor."

It sounds strange to me, but I guess I am. So I nod, affirming, "I am."

She continues, "Well, it's nice to meet ya. Have ya had breakfast yet?"

I shake my head. "No."

"Would ya like some once we're in the air?"

"Yes, please," I say, my stomach suddenly growling. I didn't eat much yesterday. I needed to find out where Tynan was, and I was a wreck most of the day.

"Very well, then. Hello, Mr. O'Connor. How are ya?" she asks, glancing past my head.

He pats my ass. "I'm great. Pick a seat, Maeve."

I stare at the leather seats. They're luxurious. I question, "This is all yours?"

Tynan grins. "Aye. Well, it's the family's. Dad's actually."

"Does he always let ya use it?"

He grunts. "Nope."

"Why is he letting ya use it now?"

Tynan wiggles his eyebrows. "Honeymoon."

My butterflies take off. "Is that what we're doing?"

He shakes his head. "No. This isn't the real honeymoon, but he doesn't know that."

I arch my eyebrows and try to stop smiling. "It's not?"

"Nope. This is just a trip."

"But ya told him it was for our honeymoon?"

"Aye." Tynan's mischievous grin widens.

I softly laugh. "Ya and your da have an interesting relationship."

He grunts. "Like ya and your da don't."

My smile falls at the mention of Da.

Tynan points at a seat. "Sit down."

I obey, and he sits next to me.

Chloe asks, "Can I get ya a mimosa or straight champagne? Coffee, tea, anything?"

I nod. "I'll have a mimosa."

Tynan grips my hand. "One."
