He sighed contentedly, her lavender scent surrounding him. He hoped it clung to his sheets and pillows, a little bit of her left behind.

“This is nice,” Sam murmured, resting her head on his chest and stroking a hand up and down his side.

“Mhm.”

“Shit,” Sam murmured, sitting up slightly. Aero jolted, looking at her with concern.

“What’s wrong?” he asked, taking her chin in one hand to inspect her face closely.

“Gemma.”

Aero sighed. He’d forgotten about Gemma. Sam’s car was in the lot; Kai saw him bring her upstairs, and they’d inevitably run into everyone in the morning.

“I don’t care if she finds out,” Aero said, not wanting Sam to leave.

“I should’ve told her sooner.” Sam felt the weight of guilt settle in her chest.

“I told Zed.”

“Told him what?”

“That I like you, that we’re friends, and I took you out a few times,” Aero said honestly.

“Let’s see how it goes tomorrow,” Sam said. “I don’t think Gemma will have an issue with us seeing each other, but she might be upset that I didn’t tell her.”

“That’s fair,” Aero admitted, resting back against the pillows.

“I could go tell her now,” Sam suggested.

“No, you’re staying right here,” Aero said, tucking her against him again. Sam grinned, nestling into his side.

“Goodnight, love,” Sam said, pressing a kiss just above his heart.

Aero relaxed into the mattress and hugged her tighter. “Goodnight, Sammy.”

The next morning dawned clear and bright. Sam’s eyes popped open, and she glanced around the room. She smiled when she realized she was in Aero’s room, having spent another successful night with him. Her smile faltered as she realized he was gone from the bed.

Sitting up, she glanced at her phone and saw several messages from Gemma and her brother, making her stomach clench nervously. She would have to face Gemma soon.

The bathroom door swung open, and Aero entered the bedroom, a towel wrapped around his waist.

“Morning.” He smiled at her, kneeling on the bed and leaning over to kiss her.

She kissed him back, speechless at his undressed appearance and seemingly carefree mood. She liked it.

“You okay?”

Sam smiled. “We’re two for two.”

Aero grinned. “Yeah, we are.”

He kissed her softly again, then murmured, “You can take a shower if you want.”

Sam nodded, tossing off the covers and heading for the bathroom. Aero watched her go, enjoying the sight of her in his room, in his shirt, as he walked to his dresser. Sam glanced over her shoulder just as he dropped the towel, giving her an unobstructed view of his ass. It was glorious, toned, and firm, slightly paler than the rest of his skin. She wanted to bite it.

Blushing furiously at her ridiculous thoughts, she shut the door and started the shower.
