No one said a thing as we watched her work. She then did a few taps until I heard something printing. She wiped the goo off my stomach, smiling at me.

“Congratulations, I think next week let's do another one, and then we can do one in twenty weeks to find out the sex of the baby.” She put back a few things before turning back to me. “I suggest some bed rest for at least a few days and plenty to eat. Are you having nausea?”

“No, just extremely tired,” I said, sitting up.

“That’s great, don’t tell your sister that, she was throwing up all the time.” She smiled. “Here are some pictures of your peanut.”

She handed them over as we all looked at the picture of the life inside of me.

“Do you guys need any medical assistance?”

“No, we are fine,” Zev said, absentmindedly, but then looked up at her with sincerity in his gaze. “Thank you.”

“Of course, let me get Gerard so that you may rest and thank you for the honor, High Priestess.” Sasha bowed before leaving the room.

I watched her leave in slight shock.

“Is this really our child?” Aeon asked, bringing my attention to them.

“Yeah,” I said, looking at the picture. “This is our munchkin. Modern technology will blow your mind.”

You could see the outline of a head and a little body, but there she was, hopefully a healthy baby girl.

“Katarina, I can show you to your quarters,” Gerard said, coming into the room.

Aeon picked me up, following Gerard to the other side of the hallway. We were close to my father’s room and I didn’t know how I felt about that. We continued on as Zev and Lucien talked quietly, looking at the photo of our child. The happiness on their faces was enough to make me feel warm inside, ready to fall asleep.

That's until Gerard walked us into my father’s room, making me panic that something was going to happen. We were being ambushed.

“Gerard, I think I should rest,” I said, hoping my voice was neutral. “Can you please take us to our room?”

It didn’t go unnoticed, making the guys look around the room.

“This is your room Katarina,” he said looking around.

“No, these are my father’s quarters.”

“It used to be, your father hasn’t lived here in years, I figured this would be big enough for you and your mates.” He smiled. “Your father approved.”

I nodded not knowing how I felt about that.

“There are fresh towels in the bathroom, I also put your favorite soaps in the shower. I will bring up food in about twenty minutes.” He bowed before leaving the room and closed the door.

“Should we be worried?” Lucien looked around the small living room.

“No, but I think we need to be prepared for anything, like my father wanting me to lead the coven,” I said, thinking this was the only explanation.

“Lead the coven?” Aeon looked surprised.

“She called me high priestess,” I said, walking to the bedroom hoping they would follow me. “That title is reserved for whoever leads the coven and that has never been a woman.”

I stripped out of my clothes as I walked to the bathroom desperate for a shower. Tossing my filthy clothes into the hamper, I walked into the bathroom appreciating the enormous shower. It was not big enough for all of us, but at least two of them. Opening the door, I slid in to turn it on, waiting for the hot water.

“Wow,” Lucien said, stripping out of his clothes too. “This is very different. Is that the shower you always talked about?”

I chuckled. “Yeah, that's a shower with hot water.”

“And what are these?” Aeon asked.
