Mr. Park nods his head and pretends to check his notes or his registration. He knows exactly who they are.

“Everybody, say hello to our two new students at Santorin University, Ana and Ava Long.” A few moderatehi’sgo out as half of the students gasp and shoot their head over to me.

Well, now for the third time in two separate incidences has there been transfer students in over hundreds of years. If they’re both that smart enough to get in here. They’re probably the hidden daughters of my family’s century old feud, enemies.

The teacher continues to talk to them but their eyes find mine. Smiling as they start to walk toward the back of the room where Eden and I are perched. It’s rude to the teacher, but absolutely entertaining.

They walk to the row right behind us as a whole class follows every move they make. Enamored by not one but both of these two beautiful specimens.

One of them is in leather pants and a regular T-shirt that’s probably expensive as hell. Eden has her eye on that one. The other twin is wearing a cute little summer dress with leggings to keep warm and carrying a small sweater.

They flirt religiously with the guys at the table right behind us. I can’t exactly make out what they say without being rude and turning in my seat and dead set staring at them. I can tell that they whisper in both of the guys’ ears. They keep laying their hands on their shoulders.

Less than a minute later both of the guys sitting behind us at the table who’ve been here since school started two monthsago have decided to get up and go to the front of the classroom. These girls are good.

“Hi, I’m Ana and this is Ava.” The twins maneuvered in between us slightly shocking both Eden and me, introducing themselves to us. We give each other a weird look as our new friends start to laugh knowing that they’ve unnerved us but also grabbing the attention of everybody in the room.

“Excuse me,” Mr. Park snaps out trying to gain control over his class.

These girls are going to fit in perfectly with the popular crowd.

Before the teacher can gripe or get any more irritated, Ava says, “sorry sir.” Curling her hair around her finger with a smile so sincere and bright but every nerve and twitch of the teacher’s face starts to relax.

The hard crevices of his wrinkle lined face has turned less stern and more relaxed.

“I’m so sorry, we’ve been stuck inside for years and we’re just trying to make friends,” Ana sings out, causing the asshole teacher to relent and now smile. These girls are good. Mr. Park normally has a stick up his ass.

The class has gone back to work. All groups now doing what they do best and excelling in the school.

“How in the hell were you guys able to transfer into the school?” Eden doesn’t give the girls a chance as they start working, before she snaps out. I have to admit I’m just as interested.

Ava laughs. “That’ll come later, at another time. We’re just really good at what we do.” Later, I’ll realize just how right they are.

It doesn’t take much to convince us as they start working with graphs that we have been working on for the past month. These graph principles can be hard if you don’t know what you’re doing. The twins excel at this.

It didn’t take long after I watch them dictate the graphs, to catch up.

I know my best friend is just as jealous as I am but we are also very enamored. Jealousy is an ugly bitch.

“This is so much fun,” Ana states to Ava as they continue working and then to slightly chuckle looking at us. “We’ve been homeschooled our whole lives, so being out here and able to do work with others is fascinating.”

I don’t think you can homeschool college? Can you? Online yes.

I ignore my intuition, screaming in my head, telling me to be careful, but I can’t help to happily nod when Eden asks, “would you guys like to go to lunch with us?” The Long girls are incredibly addictive and a bright spot in this nasty place.

“Of course, it took you long enough to ask.” They both start to giggle, causing Eden and me to smile.

In Mr. Parks’ class we always arrive at the cafeteria earlier than normal for lunch. Even college lunch times spans hours, but most people like to get here around noon.

The twins watch us as we order and then they both squeal, giddy when they realize how they can order food.

We both watch and for some reason I’m slightly relieved that they’re not ordering salads like all the other girls do around here, that are stick thin.

Eden does what Eden normally does, and explains the different people throughout the room. My stomach is growling and I’m slightly wondering where Remy and Sloan are. The guards are normal for me, but thinking about it, they backed off some, too.

Both of the twins ordered stacked cheeseburgers with extra fries. They pretty much mimicked what Eden and I ordered.

As soon as the food gets here they start dousing the shit with mustard and ketchup, not caring who’s watching as they dive right in. Politely using a napkin every now and then, laughing occasionally when a clump of ketchup falls on something.
