Lux jumped off the table, adjusting her skirt. “Well, I guess that’s the crux of it all, Titan,” she replied. “I don’t know you well enough to know what you will do or won’t do. Case in point, I never expected you to announce to the world that I was your girlfriend.”
I could still smell her cream on my fingers, and it was fucking with me. “This changes nothing, Lux,” I told her. “We’re still doing this.”
She bristled. “As long as it’s just fake dating, then I’m fine with it. However, there’ll be no more of…of this.”
Making sure to hold her gaze, I lifted my fingers, then licked them clean. “Oh, baby, that’s where you’re wrong.”
With one last glare aimed my way, Lux turned to storm out of the room. “Go fuck yourself, Titan.”
I grabbed her by the arm before she could get away from me. “The press will be swarming the place,” I reminded her. “You’re going to need me to escort you out of the building.”
“Of course, I am,” she scoffed, and she really was something else.
