Trove’s Purpose
Delivery Details: One cup, standard size, crystalline in structure, to be delivered to a very wealthy client.
Being stranded on a desert world with an entire starship recycling facility at their mercy, Trove and his crew had certainly managed to do more with less. Though the plane itself is lifeless, they continue to keep watch in the silent halls. Just in case some random little human female happens to track them down across the galaxies. Like this pretty little thing he greets by putting a pistol right in her face.
Chee has one mission. To complete it, she has to find the crew of the Humble Delivery Service. Not that they’re hard to find. Her rather wealthy and mysterious benefactor already tracked them down, got her a starship, and sent her on her way with instructions on how to complete that mission. It seems easy enough. Until she meets Trove and finds him to be the most irritating, disgusting, frustrating playboy she’s evermet.
Except there’s something about him that keeps pulling her back in. And every time she thinks she understands him, he proves her wrong. And maybe they have more in common than she initially thought.
This is just a job. She has too much riding on her success to risk failure. But there’s a lot going wrong, and she isn’t sure that it’s even possible to complete this job.
Chee has already sacrificed everything. She’s putting it all on the line. No matter what he’s like, Trove isn’t going to keep her from succeeding. Even if he’s probably the strongest person she’s ever met.
Trove’s Purpose is the fourth in the Delivery Service series. It is a MF romance with a HEA and a complete story between the leads. Though each story can be read as a standalone, this series is best read in order. Tropes and trigger page inside.
