“Raff?” I lifted an eyebrow as she sighed.

“Yeah, Raff. You’ll know if he’s there; he will be the hottest guy in the room.”

“Please come down,” I whined as she groaned. “I feel weird going on my own with a group of lads I don’t know.”

Ellie threw back the duvet, revealing her faded Winnie The Pooh pyjamas and bed hair.

“God, Jess. Do you need a drink that bad?” She grumbled, opening the door.

“Yes.” I nodded my head. “I really do.”

“Great. Prepare for the insults.” Ellie stomped down the stairs, and I followed her, not liking the idea of walking into a room filled with strange boys.

I needn’t worry because the four bodies sprawled on the sofa and floor were pretty much unconscious.

Ellie cursed, pushing open the windows before grabbing the ashtrays.

“Seriously, my brother doesn’t give a shit. If my mum comes home to this, she will lose her mind. She hates him smoking.”

Her brother was closest to me, on the long sofa against the wall. His t-shirt had moved up, his hand resting on his stomach as he breathes deeply. I tore my eyes away as Ellie glared at him before she stopped, nodding her head at the figure in the armchair.

“That’s Raff,” she whispered and smiled before moving into the kitchen.

Raff wasbeautiful.

High cheekbones and full lips, far too full for a man, yet entirely fitting on him. He was broad as fuck, and covered in tattoos. His hair was barely visible due to the way it was shaved, but I could see the attraction.

“He only recently shaved it,” Ellie whispered, pushing a glass of juice into my hand. “He used to have it in braids, which was super sexy.”

I can imagine.

I cast another look at Logan, the flush in his cheeks and the movement of his chest the only signs he was alive.

We moved to head upstairs, and I couldn’t help but steal another glance at the beautiful boy on the sofa.

“You checking out Raff?” Ellie elbowed me, nodding towards the open doorway I was gazing through.

“Uh, yeah,” I lied, closing the door behind me.

“So you’re not dead after all,” Ellie giggled as I followed her up the stairs.

“No, I’m not dead. However, I do have a boyfriend, remember?”

“Yeah, but he’s a dick.”

Ellie closed the door, and we snuggled back in bed, turning out the lights as we sighed simultaneously.

“Can you at least pretend to like him?” I said to the darkness, rolling onto my side.

“If you weren’t as beautiful and intelligent as you are, I could. I don’t know why you waste your time with Carlisle,” Ellie retorted.

“Because I love him, I’ve told you thousands of times….” I mumbled into my pillow, yawning.

“I know, babe, but I can’t help but dislike the guy. He may look like Adonis, but he’s not aware of how lucky he is to have my best friend as his girl.”

“I love you, El.” I smiled as she turned to face the other side, plumping her pillow up.

“I love you too, babes.”
