Garrett reached into the minibar again and pulled out the can of macadamia nuts. Opening it, he poured some in his palm and offered it to her. “Eat a little protein with your vodka, okay.”
She giggled. “Actually, I believe I just did.”
His laugh warmed her soul. “That you did. I wasn’t going to do that, you know?”
Jessica nodded. “I know, but I wanted you to feel as good as I did against the door.”
His eyebrows lifted briefly. “I appreciate your gift. It was quite extraordinary.”

“Exactly.” He held up the shelled macadamias again. She took a mouthful and chewed thoughtfully as he watched. Another handful. Another swig of vodka.
He moved closer. Before she could finish the booze, he kissed her gently on the mouth.
“You don’t need to drink for courage.”
She made a disbelieving face and drained the small bottle. “I don’t know about that, and I don’t want to take any chances.”

“Sounds great.”
The sound of running water stopped. Jessica glanced over at the bathroom doorway, noticing Seth was no longer standing there. A sound like someone getting in the tub came next, followed by Seth’s voice, “The bath is ready. Come and join me, the water is awesome.”
“Shall we?” Garrett asked.
She tossed her tiny, empty vodka bottle in the recycle container and nodded. “Let’s go.”
True to his word, Garrett picked her up and carried her into the bath. The first thing she saw was the thin layer of bubbles along the top of the water. Seated in one corner of a bathtub big enough for four, Seth motioned for them to slide in.

“Probably the vodka is helping with that,” she said, letting loose a little giggle. “But it’s not like I haven’t ever heard of it before. I’ve read a sexy romance novel or two in my past.” She grinned, scooped up some bubbles and blew them off of her fingertips as they watched intently.
Although truth was often stranger than fiction, she’d certainly never expected to have the opportunity to have two men at the same time. “I find the very idea of having two men tonight extremely exciting.”
