While Seth had inside knowledge that she’d gotten the honeymoon suite for three nights, all of her belongings were missing from the room this morning, and her car was gone from the lot.

He’d called the front desk, discovering she hadn’t officially checked out, at least not yet, but it wasn’t unheard of for guests to leave and call from the road to cancel successive nights.

More concerning was that she hadn’t left any type of note. Not thanks for the fuck, but I’m on my way. Or even, hey, last night totally sucked polar bear balls, so I’m out of here. Nothing.

The two of them realized they had no way to contact her again in the immediate future. As he puttered around in the suite, he remembered he could go look at her official hotel registration, but decided it was unethical. At least for the moment. He might get desperate later on and tucked that notion deeply away.

Garrett left soon after waking up, and headed to work. Seth had hung around the room, hoping she’d return before he had to leave and go to meet Gray’s new day manager selection.

The candidate Gray already planned to offer the job to after he met her in person and got a good “gut” feeling.

As Seth stared deeply into Jessica’s luscious blue eyes, he had very sudden and very mixed reactions to his partner from last night also being the new day manager. He likely couldn’t hide his relieved reaction to seeing her again so suddenly, but tried his best to cover his shock.

After only few seconds of a pause, he promptly stuck out his hand, and said politely, “Pleased to meet you, Jessica. Welcome to the company. Gray has told me great things about you.”

The moment their palms touched, his brain tortured him with a flash vision of last night. The recollection was complete with all the physical memories of her rapturous expression the moment she climaxed the first time in the tub while his cock had been buried deeply inside her tight pussy. The sounds of water sloshing around them during the final crescendo of passion rushed into his brain as she squeezed his hand. Last night, she’d ridden him hard like one of the bucking broncos he passed in the corral on his way inside the hotel.

“Likewise,” she murmured. Her cheeks glowed with a sudden pop of vivid tomato red. Perhaps she was also picturing what was in his head. Or perhaps she was thinking about the stupendous blow job she’d given him while Garrett had been fucking her wildly from behind. That had been simply mind blowing.

He forced himself to release her hand. Thankfully, Gray distracted their staring when he said, “I’m sorry, I forgot to ask when you could start, Jessica. Please say right away.”

An uncomfortable laugh came forth from her beautiful lips. “I can start right away.” She paused as if more words were coming, but they didn’t.

Gray said, “Excellent. I’ll show you the office you’ll be working in, and then send you to HR for all the paperwork. I’d like to apologize up front, as I’m certain it will fill the rest of your day. So you can start fresh for your first day tomorrow morning, okay?”

“Yes. Thank you,” she said, turning her attention to Gray.

“I’ll also have Hannah provide some material for you to read at your leisure about the specific duties and responsibilities.” He looked like he was about to lead her out, but Seth didn’t want her to go.

He paused, giving Seth an odd, what are you still doing here look and asked, “Did you have any questions for Jessica, boss?”

Seth smiled as reassuringly as possible in her direction, and nodded. “I do have a couple of questions, if you don’t mind.” Mostly he wanted to ensure she didn’t bolt out the door never to be heard of ever again because of what had happened between them last night before this interview.

“Sure thing. Want to sit down?” Gray stood there a moment until Seth realized he wasn’t leaving.

Seth was saved having to kick him out of his own office by his secretary, Hannah, who popped her head in. “Mr. Bishop, there’s a situation with one of the contractors.” Down the hall he heard a few raised voices coming from the outer office.

“Be right back,” Gray said and disappeared down the hall, his secretary directly on his heels. Now they were finally all alone together.
