“Come for Daddy, baby.”

She screamed and then felt the gush of his cum inside of her, and it was the most wonderful thing in the world. A week after she moved in, they had gotten her on birth control pills because neither of them liked the piece of rubber between them, and she was glad for that.

He cuddled her against his chest. “I’m so lucky to have you.”

She looked up at him. “I think I’m the lucky one.”

Chapter Twelve

Gavin put down his pen when Alexa’s alarm went off. He’d made a necklace to help him find her if she was lost. It would tell him if she was under stress and if her heart rate was too fast. Sometimes it was because of a dog she was meeting or seeing him. Besides tracking her, it also had a listening device to hear everything, but he couldn’t communicate with her.

He pulled up the app on his phone to listen. “Fuck,” he yelled and ran out of his office. “Chase.”

Chase came running.

“Weber has Alexa.”

“How the fuck did that happen?”

“I have no idea. Listen.” Both men heard everything the man was saying.

“Are you getting this recorded?”

“Fuck yes. This might just bring him down.” His phone rang. “Hello?”

“Sir, it’s Manny. Alexa is not at the animal shelter. What do you want me to do? They said she left in a car like ours a few minutes ago.”

“I’ve got her, Manny. Start heading this way, and Chase will give you an address to come to.”

“I’ll do whatever needs doing. I’m so sorry. I was even a few minutes early, and she left. One of the workers said she pointed out the car to Alexa, and that’s why she left, thinking it was us.”

“We’ll get her. Don’t worry. I’d still trust you with my life.”

“Thank you, sir. That means a lot.”

Gavin jumped into Chase’s car, and they roared out of the parking lot, following the signal on Alexa’s necklace. He heard Chase giving Manny directions but concentrated on getting to Alexa.

Gavin practically vibrated with fury.

“Man, I know as much as you want to, but you can’t kill him,” Chase said.

“Fuck. He needs to be put down before he hurts anyone else.”

“I’ve got a suggestion,” Chase said without taking his eyes off the road as he drove.

“What?”

“Take the recording to Alastair Maclean,” Chase said.

His anger lightened. It was perfect. “Damn, you’re brilliant. He’ll take care of the problem because he’ll learn all about what the bastard has been up to. I don’t trust the family, but I do know they don’t like women and children being hurt. I think he’s mellowed a bit since he found and fell in love with a woman.”

“A good woman will do that to a man. I’ll see if I can get in touch with him and set up a meeting tonight. We’ll have to stow the fucker for a few hours,” Chase said.

Gavin relaxed a bit. “Good. We’re just about on them. I texted Manny. He’ll pull in front of the car and box them in. I’ll hand Alexa over to you, and you take her home.”

“She’s going to need you, man,” Chase said.

“I know, but not until I know this man is taken care of. I want to be able to tell her she’ll never have to worry again.”
