“She’ll tell you the same thing,” Seth assured her, reaching up to pull her to them. She draped her legs over Seth’s lap, while her butt was firmly planted in Linc’s. She draped an arm around him and kissed him on the cheek. She sat back, contemplating.

“You know, I still feel a little guilty for firing Ricky. I mean, I know he has to do his community service and stuff, and he probably won’t be back in the business for a while. But he’s the one who brought me out to Miami in the first place, and if I hadn’t come here, I never would have met the loves of my life.” Gentry sighed. “He’s almost Cupid.”

They laughed. “Not quite, my love,” Linc said. “Remember, we’re keeping an eye on him. Those guys at community service treat him like a human being. Everyone knows this case belongs to us, and since we do things by the book, they do it by the book, too.”

“Well, good. That makes my heart feel a little better,” Gentry said happily.

Linc stroked her hair, and Seth began rubbing her feet, as they often did whenever she was close. The sensations both calmed and excited her at the same time. Spirals of pleasure circulated through her. She shivered and bit her lip, feeling herself getting slick between the thighs just from being near them.

No matter how much time they spent together, she could never get enough. Ever since the fateful day of the arrest, when Linc and Seth confessed their love for her, Gentry had been sleeping at Linc’s house. Most nights, all three of them stayed there together. Gentry had almost immediately terminated her month-to-month lease and started moving in. Now, three months later, Seth was in the process of ending his lease to move in, too. It simply made sense: Lincoln had so much room in his spacious, beautiful house. It was a no-brainer for the three of them to live there together. Three months in, the honeymoon period was still going strong, and she suspected it would never, ever end. Her desire for them only grew by the day, and she was constantly on fire in their presence.

They were only ever apart when duty called, and now that Seth and Linc had both been promoted following the Ricky Hanes case, they were even more indispensable to the force. Likewise, the media attention combined with Faith’s superior management skills had rocketed Gentry’s small-town buzz into bona fide big-city fame. People came from all over to watch her performance, not only at the Blues—which had undergone a much-needed revamping overseen by the owner, Bill Owens—but all around South Florida.

Her creative drive was at an all-time high, as well. She was perpetually inspired by her passion for the men in her life. Lincoln’s stoic calm, the way he could quiet her loudest fears with the softest glance. Seth’s boyish charm, the way he could make her melt with one light brush of his fingertips. She stayed up late writing songs long after her lovers fell asleep tangled up in the sheets on either side of her. She woke up in the morning with music playing in her head and desire in her soul. She was even looking forward to an upcoming recording session, her first. It was finally time. She was ready to spread her wings.

Every day was a new adventure, a new opportunity to explore the beautiful world around her with the two best partners she could imagine. Seth and Linc fell into perfect rhythm with her, their lives weaving together like a braid.

“Should I play the song again? I want to have a few more ready before we go on that weekend trip to Bartlett,” Gentry said dreamily. “You know I won’t be able to focus on songwriting with my family around. Oh, they’re going to love you guys.”

“Not to brag, but I make a damn good impression on people’s parents,” Seth said.

“He means to say that we’re looking forward to it,” Linc said with a chuckle.

“Well, me too. I can’t wait to show you guys my hometown. Finally, the men I love most in the place I love most. It’s going to be magical,” Gentry gushed.

“Play the song again,” Linc said softly, kissing her on the neck.

Seth ran his fingers up her legs. “One more time, then it’s off to bed with you.”

“Withus,” Linc added slyly.

With every cell in her body ringing with pure love and exhilaration, Gentry sat back down at the piano. Watching her lovers’ handsome faces, she finally wrote the song her heart was always meant to sing.
