“Can do,” Mason said, laughing. “But some parts of you will get more attention than others.”

“I certainly hope so,” she replied, giggling.

Mason nodded sagely. “I think your breasts are carrying a significant amount of tension,” he said very seriously. “I’d better get the oil.”

“Yes,” Ellie agreed. “Definitely. I’m in dire need.”

They both laughed, and Mason leaned over to kiss her gently. Even though she was tired, Ellie felt her body coming to life under his touch, thrills of pleasure running through her and awakening her lust.

“Hmm, not to change the subject,” Ellie muttered. “But did you have a plan for getting home? I did want to see the book fair in a couple of days.”

“I didn’t forget,” he said. “I’ll start wrapping up business tomorrow, then let the company heads know I won’t be finishing the rest of the meetings. We can fly home the day after the book fair.”

“Sounds good,” Ellie said, yawning as another sleepy wave washed over her. “We need to get back to Gerri too.”

“Don’t worry about it,” he said. “You’re in no state for a fundraiser right now.”

“Yes, I know,” Ellie said, frowning. “But she’s taken on the special cause of foster kids just for me. She wants my input so we can improve the system.”

“All in good time, my love,” Mason said softly. “You can have a meeting with her when we get back. I don’t think you should be doing an event with a few hundred people, though.”

Ellie had to admit that sounded exhausting. She tried not to think too hard and relaxed into Mason’s touch. Just as she started drifting off to sleep, the doorbell rang, and Mason hurried to get the food.

She sighed as she sat up, wrapping one arm around her belly. Mason hurried back to her with the bags of food, putting everything down on the table so he could reach out and touch her belly.

“How are you, little one?” he asked. Ellie’s stomach grumbled.

“Hungry,” Ellie said, laughing. “Just like the last time you asked.”

She leaned against Mason, tilting her head up for a kiss. As his lips met hers, Ellie felt the fire inside her ignite anew. She would never get enough of loving this man and letting him love her.

Each of them had found what they really needed … just like Gerri said.

A home.
