He rolled his eyes and gestured for me to do whatever I’d wanted to.

“Hey, prude!” I yelled, and saw her tense as I walked over. “You need me to throw you over my shoulder?”

“Try me.” Dita countered, “I’m sure I’ll kick you in the balls first.”

I heard Rio snort. Oh, little mama was as spicy as she looked.

“Mm, I love these games,” I asserted, the corners of my lips turning up while patting my crotch. Let’s see what she thought of this. “There’s still one empty player’s seat, if, you’re in.”

“No, thank you. That’s an invitation I can resist.” She turned away and made the mistake of losing focus. She stepped on her dress, her clutch shooting through the air and landing a couple of feet away while she fell on her hands and knees. She hissed, probably having a sharp pebble or two piercing her skin.

While she tried to recuperate, I ambled over to stand in front of her, hands in my pockets. The surge of pleasure I felt of seeing her in that position was… interesting. I didn’t even look down at her cleavage. But I was tenting inside my dark navy slacks anyway.

The heat zinging through my spine intensified with every second. She couldn’t look more beautiful than that. Submitted. Bruised. Defenseless.

She looked up from beneath those long, dark lashes. And fuck me! I wanted to drag her by the hair, take her to my car and make her shove my cock between those trembling lips.

I licked my lips, studying her guarded gaze, and dipped down to palm her cheek. My thumb stroked her soft skin, just like it had three days ago.

My signature was on those papers Cary had outlined. I didn’t like it one bit. ‘Discipline’, he’d said and had rolled his eyes in that nonchalant Cary-like manner when I’d asked if he knew the meaning of the word.

Crouching down, she was still too short to be at eye-level. I could so easily crush this girl. And it would be my pleasure.

“Lock the door tonight, Double D. I don’t have that much of restraint, and I used it all when I left you alone in that tub.”

She let out a frustrated cry and came up, pushing me at my chest with all the strength she had, making me topple over.

She picked herself up, went to grab her purse, and pulled off her shoes before stalking off. I laughed, finally having found some pleasure during all this load of crap that was a wedding.

Rio kicked the sole of my foot and reached his hand out to help me up. “Did you have your fun?”

“Oh, yeah,” I concurred as I watched her walk away.

Instead of going over to her own car, she paused, her gaze on a dark gray Audi R8. My interest piqued when her eyes slid from the car to me, gauging my reaction. I shook my head slowly, warning her to not touch my car but curious enough to wonder what she’d do to it anyway

She smirked—freaking smirked—at me. She kept her eyes trained on mine and swung her arm backwards before focusing on my car again and smashing her heel into the side mirror.

“Oh, shit,” Rio choked, anchoring not only me but himself too as he grabbed my shoulder. My hand went up, biting my knuckles as we watched the inimical scene unfold.

I saw her chest rise and fall with exertion while she lifted her shoe in the air and kept pounding it. Shards of glass splintered onto the ground.

She turned over to the window and—yeah, okay—that was enough. I didn’t want to see my entire car getting smashed. This time, Rio let go of me easily. I stalked over, and when she saw me pounding on her, she screamed and dropped her shoe before she ran away.

“Hey, D!” I yelled while she kept running. “Remember, I’m gonna get you one time or another. Even if you fucking deadbolt that door of yours or not.”

The headlights blinded me once she jumped into her car. She sped off fast like a bullet. But oh baby, she didn’t know I always came back prepared.

I carried freaking grenades.

DITA

After a disastrous ending of the wedding this weekend, this Monday was officially the worst. When was job hunting going to be less draining?

Not only did I not find anything that fit my criteria, but I also wanted to avoid getting accepted solely because I had, and I quote, “a great anatomy”.

I’d given up on wearing baggy clothes or putting no make-up on. But I hadn’t brushed my teeth this morning, in a last attempt they would notice me for me. Bad breath shouldn’t stop someone from hiring you, right?
