“Um, three cameras, two of them on tripods next to the bed and a mini one attached to the headboard.”

I was doomed to spend the rest of the day with a tomato red face. “Ahhh… Yeah, we did.”

“Nope.” I popped my lips on the P to make it clear I was serious. There was no way I could let her know the video had been made while I was tied up, spreadeagled on Jake’s bed. That brought new meaning to the word overshare.

“Okay, so back to more serious topics. Emma Carter at a Cooper family dinner is a big fucking deal, isn’t it?”

I let out a sigh. “I don’t know. I just feel confused and overwhelmed, I guess. I can’t relax. Everything is so wonderful and good. I’m waiting for some bomb to be dropped on me.”
Ally frowned. “Okay, what’s that about?”
