Her eyes say so much. Too much. And I can’t… I don’t know what to do, what to think, how to feel…

“Do it,” Ant says again, and there’s frustration in his voice this time. “For fuck sake, Cass, just kiss him, will you? Stop acting like a teenager in denial, and just fucking kiss him.”

I’m frozen solid, heart racing as she leans in and closes her eyes.

Her breath hits my lips and my eyes close too.

And Jesus fucking Christ, she kisses me.

Cass

A crazy moment of impulse. A rush of emotion I can’t hold back.

I press my lips to Gerwyn’s, expecting the kiss to get hot and heated in a heartbeat, but it doesn’t. It’s much more sensual than that.

He takes a breath and tips his head with his mouth on mine, and slowly, so slowly, he kisses me back.

I’m a teenager again, with my pulse racing, as though this is my very first kiss. My nerves flutter in my stomach, and I can’t help but moan as his tongue circles mine, because it means so much. To both of us. I feel it in him as well as in me.

His hands come up and graze my shoulders before he wraps his fingers in my hair. His grip is full of strength, but there’s no aggression in it. A beautiful contrast to everything I’ve known for months.

The kiss feels like an exploration of each other. Tasting and teasing and touching. And I can’t help myself wondering… can’t stop the flutters as the thoughts come up…

If I feel like this just from kissing him, then how the hell am I going to feel upstairs?

The steady force of his tongue is enough to make me tingle. I could kiss him like this for ever, but he pulls away with a gasp.

“This is crazy. We shouldn’t do this.”

Both of our breaths are hitched and short in each other’s faces when Ant speaks from across the table.

“Don’t be a pussy, Ger. The night is yours. Go for gold.”

For a second I think Gerwyn is going to break the spell between us. He pauses, and I’m ready to buckle and say please don’t pull away, but I don’t need to. His lips land back on mine, and there they stay.

I smile against his kiss, feeling the friendship and the love and the respect through the passion, and it means more than words could ever say.

I don’t know how long we’re kissing, but it’s enough time that Ant tuts a sarcastic tut.

“Come on then, lovebirds. Let’s do it,” he says, and I hear him get to his feet.

I’m more than used to the coolness of his tone and the ease in which Ant sees me with other men, but Gerwyn sure isn’t. He looks awkward as hell as we watch Ant cross the kitchen away from us, but I take his hand and give it a gentle squeeze. It’s ok.

I don’t know how I manage the ascent on such high heels with legs so wobbly. My heart is pounding wild as we step into Gerwyn’s bedroom to find Ant already in there ahead of us. My fiancé is leaning back against the wall at the side of the bed like this is the most natural thing in the world.

I look at Gerwyn in his gorgeous suit, and he’s looking at me right back. He pulls the straps of my dress down and the satin falls free around my waist. My tits feel exposed in yet another man’s gaze, but there is nothing seedy about it this time. My skin is so alive that I gasp when Gerwyn’s fingers first brush against me, catching my nipples just right.

When he kisses me again my hands take on a life of their own. I pull his tie loose as he shrugs his blazer from his shoulders, and I’m desperate as I unbutton his shirt. He’s a lot less shy than I imagined as he helps me.

I know my lips must be puffy from kissing as I step away enough to admire his bare chest in the light of the bedroom, not the swimming pool.

He’s nothing like Ant. He’s not wiry, or toned, and there is no V of his hips, but it means nothing in the slightest. Gerwyn is absolutely gorgeous. In chequered shirts and chinos, or swimming shorts tied tight, he’s always a beautiful man – but tonight I’m seeing him in a whole new way. The way I’ve been denying.

My eyes drop from his stomach to the bulge in his pants.

I’m desperate to see his cock. I’m desperate to feel him inside me.

I reach for his belt, but he smiles and shakes his head. It’s not a smug smile like Ant’s. It’s light and warm, with a sparkle in his eyes.

“You first,” he says, and I adore the happy tone in his voice.
