Pinned across the front of it is a banner with ‘pussy-whipped’ written across it, and the entire thing is covered in bows and streamers.

Laughter erupts behind me as I step toward it and rip it all off.

“What? So you’re okay with the disgusting PDA all over school, but this pisses you off?” Oak asks, the amusement in his tone telling me that this is his handiwork.

“I couldn’t give a fuck who knows that I’ve handed your sister my balls, Oak.”

His jaw pops at my words. He’s going to get used to it one day, but fuck, I really hope he doesn’t, because winding him up about it is too much fun.

With everything littering the floor, I reach for the locker and pull it open. I regret it instantly when glitter and streamers float down around me.

“Wait, wait,” Theo says, coming up behind me. “There’s one more thing.”

Something scratches the top of my head, and when I glance over my shoulder, I find that he’s pinned a fucking veil into my hair. Before I can stop him, he thrusts a fake bouquet at me too.

“I’m going to fucking kill the lot of you,” I hiss, clutching the bouquet like a fucking idiot.

But despite my irritation, I can’t fight the smile that spreads across my lips as my eyes move between my boys.

Coming back here for the beginning of the school year was the last thing I wanted. Being pulled back into this world seemed akin to Hell. But the reality is that it’s where I belong—surrounded by my best friends, with my girl by my side.

Saints Cross might be one fucked-up town, but there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.

“Hey, Oak,” I call, and he glances back at me.

“Yeah?”

“Catch.” The bouquet flies through the air and he catches it, brows pinched in confusion.

“What the fu—”

“Congratulations, dickhead.” I wink. “It’s your turn next.”

EPILOGUE

Olivia

“Ican’t believe I let you talk me into this,” Tally frowns, downing yet another shot.

“I’m glad you came,” I say. “But maybe you should go easy on those.”

“Pfft,” she snatches up another off the tray. “If I’m going to survive a party at the Chapel, I need alcohol, Liv. Lots and lots of alcohol. Just don’t let me do anything stupid, okay?” She gives me a serious but slightly glazed look. “I’m trusting you. I do not want to end up giving my virgin—”

Tally’s eyes widen in horror. “Oh my god. Forget I said that. Please god, forget.”

I chuckle. “There’s nothing wrong with being a virgin, Tally.”

“Ssh. Keep your voice down.” She glances around the room. “The last thing I need is your brother and the Heirs learning that I’m… that. They’ll never let me live it down.”

“I’m sure none of them care about your sexual history.”

“Come on, I want to dance.” Tally grabs my hand and tugs me toward where the other girls are dancing. A couple of Darcie’s friends shoot me a look of disdain but I let it roll off my back. They don’t like that I’m here, with Reese, but they can suck it. I’ve always been close to the Heirs but now I get to call one mine.

Victory never tasted sweeter. Although I have to put up with my fair share of Heir chasers since I’m around the lads more. It’s a small price to pay for loving Reese though.

“Hmm,” a pair of hands slide around waist, “you look far too sexy to dancing alone.”

“Reese,” I breathe, leaning back into his strong body. A body I know almost as well as my own.
