“You have information?” I ask, barking over her. “You know who did this?”

A wide smug smile curls at Tally’s lips.

“We do.”

OLIVIA

Iinhale deeply as I move slowly into the cow pose, pushing my hips upward and pressing my chest forward, letting the tension melt away. Lifting my head, I relax my shoulders while gazing straight ahead. And then I exhale into the cat pose, rounding my spine and pushing my tailbone forward.

The cat-cow pose is great for stress relief, something I need after the week I’ve had. Every day, I’ve had to face them. Listen to the whispers and sniggers, tolerate the stares.

Dad was right, though. Whatever he said to Mr. Porter worked, and no one has outwardly bothered me about the footage. Well, no one but Darcie. She gave me a murmured insult or two in passing.

Nothing new there.

The sound of the ocean ripples through the room, letting me sink into the pose, finding my inner calm.

Yoga might help with the stress and frustration, but it does nothing for the ache in my heart. The giant hole left by Reese and his betrayal.

I haven’t heard a single word from him.

Nothing.

I heard Dad telling Fiona that he’s safe and laying low while things blow over. Whatever the hell that means. But she still hasn’t tried to talk to me about it.

Not that I really blame her.

I interfered with her plans for Reese.

She probably hates me.

Releasing the pose, I sit up and roll back my shoulders, inhaling another deep breath.

“Olivia?” Dad calls, shattering my peace. “You have visitors.”

“I don’t want to see anyone.”

But voices travel upstairs, growing closer, and with a heavy sigh, I drag myself over the floor and go to my door, ripping it open.

“I said I— Tally?” I gawk at the girl standing outside my bedroom.

“Hi, Liv. Can we talk?”

Abigail peeks out from behind her and gives me a warm smile.

“Abi? What is going on?”

“Let’s go inside.” Tally motions to my room. “We’ll explain everything.”

“Who’s downstairs?” I ask at the sound of male voices. “Is that—”

“Come on.” Abigail takes my hand and ushers me back into my room.

“Why is Reese downstairs?” My voice betrays me, quivering.

“Oak, Elliot, and Theo are, too.”
