"So then, apparently Axel's sister got on the back of Jude's motorbike and ran away from her own wedding." Ripley's eyes were huge as she put the phone down on the table and slipped into a chair.
Roman rubbed a hand over his face. "I knew I should have gone back to Norfolk with them. This is what happens when I take my eyes off those boys." He shook his head and lowered his hand to the table with a thunk.

My screen flashed and a bunch of messages popped up.
…Half a second flat.
"And work for us," Roman said. His phone started to do the same thing.
"A publicist's job is never done." I picked up my phone and pressed the screen to open the notification center. It already had five, no six messages, all requests for interviews or comments.
Seven.
Eight…
"Neither is a manager's." He picked up his phone and did the same. "Oh good, there's photos and everything."
He turned around his screen to show us the same photo I was about to show them. Jude, the Rock Dragons keyboard player, kissing a blond woman who was wearing a wedding dress and whose hair was a mess.
The rest of the band stood behind them, clapping by the look of it.
"Awww, looks like love to me," Ripley said. "Harper said they used to date in high school. It took them a while to find their way back to each other."
"Harper was at the wedding that didn't happen?" I asked.
"No, Cord told her and she told me." Ripley shrugged. "Apparently the intended groom was taken to hospital. Something about a suspected broken foot. Apparently, he was a massive douche, so don't feel too bad for him."
