Sasha Reilly has sworn off love.

After discovering her fiancé was cheating, trusting another man with her heart feels impossible.
When she unexpectedly runs into her ex, the last thing she wants is for him to know that she still hasn’t picked up the pieces of her broken heart while he has already moved on. So she does the only thing she can think of… She lies.
Conor Matthews, NHL superstar and certified heartbreaker is the one man who would do anything Sasha asks for. Being her fake boyfriend should be easy. A few dates. A few convincing photos. A few kisses for the camera. And absolutely no falling in love.
Except Conor is nothing like the arrogant athlete that he makes himself out to be. He’s patient when she pushes him away, protective when the world gets too loud, and always knows when she needs him the most. Between the late night phone calls, stolen kisses, and the way Conor slowly chips away at the walls Sasha has built around her heart, pretending becomes a lot harder than expected.

Sometimes the greatest risk isn’t falling in love…
It’s trusting someone enough to catch you when you fall.
