“Ruairi is here? And you didn’t even warn me?” She growls. Now it’s my turn to laugh.

“It’s only Ruairi. He knows what I am like anyway. Shall we have some food?”

I walk her over to the table. I did originally ask Jones to spell out marry me in cheese on spaghetti as it's her favorite meal, but he told me that was insane so instead we picked pizza, it’s still Italian food.

I pull out the chair for Sophie and lift the silver food cover to reveal the pizza and I am beside her on one knee holding up the ring box. Inside is a rose gold ring with a pear shape morganite in the middle in a halo of diamonds and down the band of the ring. It is simple but stunning, and different, just like my doll. You would swear she knew with wearing rose gold shoes and choker.

When she sees me kneeling, there are tears in her eyes. She surprises me by bending down and simply placing a kiss on my lips and mumbles, “Yes, a thousand times yes.”

My heart nearly stops. This wonderful, beautiful, caring, kind, and honest woman said yes to me. Me, the thug, mob boss, murderer, who kidnapped her, but stole her heart all at the same time.

Just as we break apart from the kiss I hear Ruairi shouts, “She said yes! Stupid woman!”

There is laughing and cheers as the back doors open, and everyone runs in. Sophie’s eyes are wide with surprise.

“You got everyone here? You did all of this?” I think she about to cry.

“I had a little help.”

I wink at her just as Lauren pulls her in for a mighty hug. I was able to fly in my mam, Sophie’s mam, they have grown close because they live near each other, and my mam has been helping Siobhan settle. Aoife is here too, of course. Lauren did most of the decorations. Ruairi did help but not without complaining. Liam jumped at the chance to do something fun for a change, and Jones did the food. I made the playlist and bought the ring, that was all I did. I did pay for the building and everything else inside it too, but I didn’t do much in the way of physically helping.

When everyone has congratulated us and settles with drinks and some food Jones made, I take Sophie by the hand and stand her up beside me.

“On behalf of my fiancé and myself.” Everyone cheers. “I would like to say thank you for being here tonight. And to also let Sophie know this is her new bar, 25 Wexford Street.” I smile down at her. “And yes, Chase Rice is willing to fly in to do open night for you, so… you better get a move on to get it ready for opening night.”

I laugh as I smack her ass. Everyone cheers and laughs. We all know this will be a success because my Sophie will be in charge. The casino has been such a hit. I am tripling my income from it in the space of three months. It is amazing.

Ruairi and I are trying to get out of the weapons business and drugs, leaving it for the Italians to have, because honestly, I make more money in loans and gambling. Plus, my legit businesses, restaurant, and bars are busier since Sophie made a few changes, and brought social media into our lives. I think next after this bar I might buy a hotel to help keep people here to spend their money for longer. But first, Sophie needs to become Mrs. Traynor, my wife.
