Sometimes love deserves a second chance.
Summer
All I wanted was a quiet summer. When my best friend offers me a free stay at her beach house in exchange for helping her sell it, it feels like the reset my three kids and I desperately need.
What I don’t need? Her brother showing up.
RJ was my first kiss. My almost-forever. The one man I never quite recovered from. Now he’s back, looking just as devastating as he did the day he broke my heart. I came here for peace—not for unfinished business.
RJ
As the oldest rookie at the Chestnut Mountain Fire Department and a single dad, I’m focused on proving myself and building something steady for my daughter.

She may think this is just a temporary escape—but I have every intention of rewriting The Summer Plans.
